I’m 39 yo career woman and no kids. I have been having that pooch in the lower belly my whole life but since I’m constantly stress and didn’t eat right the last year, I have been he heaviest I have ever been!!!! I was 186lbs n only 5’6” in height. So I had to do something. I first went on Keto diet and lost 10lbs but decide that is just not enough. So I start research an finally picked lift body center for my lipo. Updated on 2 Dec 2018: Since I was staying at a hotel, the nurses suggested me buy a plastic cover for the bed. I bought a cheapy tablecloth then layer old towels on top. There were a lot of pink fluid came up. I suggest you set alarm for pain meds since I had a two hours past the three hours mark. I was in so much pain! But good to report I have never seen my waist so small n narrow in my life! Updated on 3 Dec 2018: Back to work today, post op third day.... my advice is don’t take the pain pills before you drive to work. Still draining from he incision. Notice more incisions on my body than originally thought. But I do want to say my waist line is small. A bit discouraged with how puffy my lower abs is ???? but everyone said a month is where you begin to judge your outcome. I weighted myself, I lost 4 extra pounds even they took out 7.7lbs of fluid n fat out from me. So I think I’m just full of fluid. Updated on 10 Dec 2018: I was sooooo swollen this weekend and so sore. But then I purchase son lymphatic drainage supplement and also took diuretic pill to try to get rid of the water seemed to retain in my lower abdomen. It worked and literally I was 4lbs lighter without that water. I was able to squeeze in my stage 2 fajas and not to lie, my waist looks small & fab. I can’t wait to see how does it look like in a month!! N I vouch to loose some weight on top of this so I can feel attractive and good about my body again. Will post some pictures Updated on 17 Dec 2018: Today the lumps are very visible. But my waistline is visibly smaller then ever and my lower stomach is so flat. I’m switching to maidenform flexes despite recommendations from the staff.
I'm about 8 days post op .. I had my upper and lower abdomen and my flanks done ... I'm on the road to recovery so far it's been ok no more pain however my stomach is still numb to the touch but it's very hard and swollen stilll I go today for my first post op visit with the doctor and to get a new compression garment The one I was given last week is way too big now so I know I'm progressing Updated on 9 Mar 2017: Here's a few photos Updated on 17 Mar 2017: Still swollen the recovery phase will definitely have you on an emotional roller coaster because I don't see no significant change my stomach is softening back up still numb in the middle where my belly button is but other than that not in any pain Updated on 22 Mar 2017: Updated on 10 May 2017: I still have a lil bit of swelling and numbness and it's itchy some days Updated on 15 Jun 2019: These are a few pics of me a year after surgery I still have to work out to maintain my shape which is pretty hard but you have to be dedicated because you will gain weight if you don’t exercise regularly... it will also help to wear a waist trainer
It's currently 6 days before my body jet lipo to my abdomen & flanks, my date for procedure is Aug. 2nd and im super excited but SUPER nervous.. I don't have a very big tummy but I have bigger flanks which make my already small hips appear smaller.. so I want a snatched waist.. I'll be going to Dr. Roberg in Chicago at Maves plastic surgery associates .. & I'll add before & after pictures afterwards... wish me luck! Updated on 3 Aug 2017: I had my procedure done today, Dr.Roberg took the scar tissue out from around my belly button from a previous surgery & also did my supine flanks a bit.. the procedure wasn't really super painful but some spots hurt worse than others I tolerated as much as I could but he was extremely nice & comforting. It took about 4 hours but on the table it felt a lot shorter so far I'm happy with my results.. I'm in quite a lot of pain but it's tolerable so far. Hopefully tomorrow is a bit better... I'll post my 2 week results next. Updated on 6 Aug 2017: Day 4 post op.. man those first 3 days were TERRIBLE! Getting up and down were the worse, day 4 is not so bad still some pain but not nearly as much I've been walking sense day 1 post op not far just through the house to keep my blood circulating.. I'm still very swollen so I won't update pics till the swelling goes down a bit.. I'm a little worried tho cuz one side is kind of bigger than the other but I've read online and on here that that's normal... but we shall see! I'll upload a pic at 1 week post op. Updated on 9 Aug 2017: It's been a week sense my procedure & recovery has been up & down... I'm not in as much pain at all.. I've been going on walks to the store taking my time.. but right after I walk that's when it hurts. Getting up isn't as bad at all either but still painful for about a minute after I stand.... I get the most pain in the morning when I wake up I think maybe I swell the most over night. The pain is tolerable tho, I have not taken any pain meds sense day 4 I believe so I think I'm recovering nicely. I'm not as swollen either.. I've been using arnica cream & drinking pineapple juice as well as Apple cider vinegar, honey, & cinnamon which I think is helping a lot with swelling! Will upload pics later. Overall I'm pleased with my progress. Just ready for the recovery process to be over! Lol Updated on 9 Aug 2017: This pic was 2 days ago... I clearly see a difference but I'm hoping my waist gets smaller! My hips still kind of blends in giving a box shape... which I don't want! Updated on 11 Aug 2017: 8 days post op still sore ????????.. but getting better still very swollen as well.. 1st day back at work today! It went rather ok. Made sure to stay hydrated.. my results are improving! Can't wait till I'm healed.. Updated on 14 Aug 2017: Very swollen! No real pain. Updated on 17 Aug 2017: I went in for my 2 week post op appointment yesterday.. talked to Dr. Roberg about my uneven waist & lower left side he assured me that it's only swelling & I will continue to shrink... we shall see!
Hello, I'm 25yo and have 1 child. I'm was fairly thin befor my baby girl (140 and very curvy) but not anymore. I am currently 220,and very depressed. Tomorrow I am having my upper and lower belly done along with my inner thighs . I am very nurvous but from the other review I should be ok. Wish me luck ???? Updated on 17 Nov 2016: I get to the clinic and get prepped, dr roberg was very nice. I took a Percocet to stay calm but I was still really nervous. The initial injections of the numbing medicine did sting a bit, however it was tolerable when I told doctor that it hurt he did moved to a different spot. We were getting a little nervous because my lido Max was 5500 and I was getting belly and thighs done they used 4500 on my belly alone and was worried it would not be enough for the thighs. You can feel the vibrations of the suction machine however it doesn't hurt it kind of put you in the mind of a tattoo gun. When we were done with the belly we went for thighs we were running out of Lidocaine solution and used some local but ran out of that too he didn't do as much as he wanted to but he still got a lot out. The surgery took 5 1/2 hours and they were able to get out at 4 Liters of fat in total! I didn't feel much while putting on my garment but when I set up I was really nauseous my belly was starting to hurt a bit but it was still bearable. The ride home was excruciating my boyfriend tryed to miss as many bumps possible but with Chicago roded it was so hard. I was very hungry after surgery so I stopped to get some soup but once I ate it I feel very nauseated . By the time I got home my clothes were soaked from all of the drainage, I try to sit on the sofa but that was a really bad idea so I went to change the pads. It was really difficult getting the garment off and actually changing the pads they didn't give us enough of the tape so we have to improvise until we can get out to a store to get more. I became even more nauseated and in pain while trying to change I was really dizzy and felt like I was going to pass out but got through it. My boyfriend help me get into bed and that's like one of the pain medications that was given to me which was the oxycodone which helped quite a bit. My Mother stayed with me throughout the night getting up to go to the bathroom I really needed her help I couldnt barely get out of bed by myself. I had to use the bathroom every two hours. When the pain mess wore off I was in so much pain my advice take the meds every 2 to 3 hours don't let there be a gap where you don't have anything . I was only able to sleep on my back for that first night but got through it OK. Updated on 17 Nov 2016: Things are getting a little better my belly is numb which I'm not sure if this is normal or not but kind of scares me. I'm able to get up all by myself and can walk by myself if I walked very slowly. I still have no appetite and when I do try to eat I'm very nauseous. I still take my pain meds every 2 to 3 hours and switch between the Norco and oxycodone. Second night I didn't have to get up to use the restroom as much I am also able to sleep on my side but not for very long there still a lot of tossing and turning. Second day I took off my garment for a little while because it was blood soaked so I wanted it washed getting up is a little bit more difficult without it . I'm using ice to try to get the swelling down a bit not sure if it's working but it is very soothing Updated on 28 Dec 2016: At almost 2 months and I feel awesome ???????? my tummy is still a little numb but not not much and there is still some swelling. I do feel like I have a little pouch at the bottom of my stomach and my skin is darker in my stomach area but I have read it will fade over time. I am also using bio oil which I feel helps. i LOVE the way I look is form fitting dresses
The most common signs of a hematoma after breast implant procedure are severe pain, swelling and often bruising on the affected side. When suspected it is mandatory to be evaluated by the operating surgeon. While placing a drain into the wound around the implant will often help to decompress the breast by removing at least some of the blood it is NOT adequate treatment. The patient needs to be returned to the operating room and have the breast incision reopened. After the implant is removed (temporarily) the wound can be thoroughly inspected. Often there will be clotted blood and ongoing bleeding. The surgeon must diligently and painstakingly stop any residual bleeding. After the wound is irrigated to ensure removal of any residual clots it is wise to place a drain such as a Jackson-Pratt before replacing the implant. The drain should be left in until the fluid in the drain receptacle has decreased to less than 50 ml over a 24 hour period.
