I’m very happy with my results thus far. My scar is looking fantastic. Hoping to see it fade a bit more though. Had a breast aug revision 2 weeks ago. Can’t wait to start working out again and getting my stomach a little better.

So my scar is a bit red at the moment as I just got out of my hot tub. All and all I’m feeling great and I feel like my scar is starting to fade a bit. However my stomach is flatter but I have seemed to gain a few pounds and now I’m wearing a size bigger in jeans which is weird to me. Maybe swelling still? Anyone else go through this? I think I also may have to get the ends of my scar cut off.

Hi! Thanks for posting. I will be 4 months March 7. My weight fluctuates by about 5 pounds heavier than after surgery and I am noticing my legs and butt getting bigger. My pants (even my post surgery compression garment) is tighter around my thighs. Not complaing about my butt but a little worried about my thighs. I have worked so hard on my scar is hate to think about getting the ends revised but again I too am disappointed on the ends. My goes further around the sides and I think the sides are too high. It looks like your scar covers easily by your underwear. I seen one poster have her ends redone and said it was a quick, easy, painless process. Keep us posted!

I was thinking the same the new weight is around my thighs too. Weird. But yes I was told it’s in office and just numbed. Can return to work the next day so that’s a plus. Do you do anything besides cream on your scar? I hear there is a massage people do as well.

I use 3 different types of strips (embrace, scar away and aromas) biocorneum gel, pure coca butter, and Palmer's skin therapy. I like the convience of the strips but the biocorneum cream is what my PS recommended. It takes a long time for it to dry and I'm supposed to use it twice a day. Hassle trying to keep my underwear and pants off of it twice a day til it dries. What are you using? BTW you are looking fabulous!

Also a massage therapist told me to massage it by rubbing it along the incision, rub it in small circles and up and down. She said as much pressure as you can tolerate. Try to breakup the adhesions.

I'm about 11-12 weeks out and I still have what I hope is some swelling and my jeans re fitting a bit different as well. Hoping the swelling continues to subside!!! Good luck if you do the scar revision. You stomach looks great though!

Had an appt last week and everything is great. Here is my most recent I sent to the bf the other night. He was out of town for work. I’m pretty happy. Can’t wait for the scar to fade a little more though.

You look great! I am 9 week out and trying to really focus on my scar as well. One side of my scar is high so if bottoms cover one side the other side will be peeking out. I'm probably going to have to do a side tattoo on the high side. But first I'm going to do all I can with creams and tapes. Happy healing!

Thank you, I thought about the tattoo thing too. Both of my sides have puffiness my doc said at 6 months if they’re not flat her will remove the skin. Just numbing and he will do it in the office. Happy healing to you as well. :)

Wow! That's great to hear! Puffiness on my sides are a concern as well. I'm happy to hear it sounds like its a pretty simple solution! Thanks for the information!
