Hi all, so I had my TT after almost 10 years if debating if getting it. As of right now I’m 9 days post op. Feeling pretty good, haven’t had to take any pain meds besides Tylenol. I had my drain taken out at 7 days post op thank goodness. So uncomfortable. I still can’t stand straight up, hoping that happens very soon. I will post an after pic in a couple days but here are my before pics. If anyone had advice on anything I would love to hear.

Almost able to stand straight up can’t wait for that. Incision is looking good tape is still attached so can’t really see too much. I don’t have any pain unless I’m sitting in a position for too long then here and there I’ll get a sharp burning pain right above my incision. Other than that no pain just a little tender.

Not too painful, I was able to get away with just taking Tylenol. I needed help getting you from the couch or bed the first two days but other than that, I was able to walk around alone.

Hi. I had my surgery Nov 7. I too have a terrible burning feeling in certain positions both on my left upper abdomen and my incision on the right side. Always in the same place burns awful. It was really bad last night. Mostly happens when I'm going to sit or get up from sitting.from what I'm reading it is nerves. I hope this gets better soon

Thank you and I hope yours gets better as well. I haven’t had it too much the last two days but today I had it a couple times when I was walking. Overall I’m getting better day by day. Can’t wait to go back to work.

Infected?

So this is where my drain was. The tape came off and this is what I’m seeing. I’m 20 days post tt today. I called doc and sent them a pic. They said it’s not infected and to leave bandage off so it can heal. Also to cut down the sutures as they will dissolve as well. I just wanted a second opinion thank you.

Hmm. Not sure if it's infected but I would probably put bacitracin or polysporin on it for a few days

Hello! We had our surgeons very close to each other! I had this along my incision line and I left it opened and took antibiotics. Within two days it closed up!
