Several body contouring & total face rejuvenation procedures . Best surgeon ever!!! He’s truly the best. I travel back from California just to see him, I trust his judgment and the fact he won’t “over do” me . That’s really important when selecting a cosmetic surgeon.
Okay ladies, 3 days ago I decided to do a back lift, my back fat was very lose due to my weight fluctuations and lipo for my BBLs. My heaviest was 220 and the smallest before weight gain for my BBL was 153 (that’s a lot of weight) I went in nervous because I was afraid that I would feel the pain... I actually started crying a bit because they said I was having local anesthesia and not twilight. I was like NO IV????!!!! So I was a nervous wreck. I was awake during the entire procedure which was different and terrifying but I let my fear of feeling pain get to me because seriously I felt NOTHING maybe pressure here and there but noting to cry about. The anesthesiologists was so caring she kept me calm during the entire process, she really help calm me and I’ll never forget that. As far as my healing and pain, i’m not going to lie it’s hard to move and sometimes moving in and out of bed is painful as well as cars... i cannot that my shirt on and off without help. My Goodness I went back to work 2 days after surgery but I’ve been taking it easy so I don’t bust my stitches. That’s my greatest fear Updated on 24 Aug 2019: Okay ladies, i’m having some pain but everyday is easier. It’s bard to sleep sometimes and the swelling noticeably went down! I was so worried they left loose skin but they didn’t!! I had my dressings taking off yesterday.. I was 3 days post op, they also gave me a B12 shot which helps me heal, i’m starting to develop a lifted scar but luckily I bought EMBRACE silicone strips . I hope it helps, I’ve also be taking MEND Cosmetic. It’s a powder I started taking it alil more than 2 weeks before surgery and thru my healing process. I’ve healed fast!! The doc said everything looks great minus the raised scars which I’ll need a steroid shot for in 2 weeks. I’ll post all the items I’ve used before and after surgery tomorrow. Updated on 30 Aug 2019: I’m no longer using the strips, it was too harsh on my skin, I feel like it was pulling my incisions. Other people said they work good and I still believe they work, I’m going to wait to put them on in 2 weeks or so
I feel and know the doctor Sharma is honest and direct, which I love, he does great work and he is very professional it was a diificult choice for me since I am over 50, he was concerned about my overall health, which was great, had to get an overall examine with blood work and Ekg. It was not about money it was about my health and everything work out. I will recommend Dr Sharma to anyone because he can help bring out the best body, he really work for you
From the start when I had my consultation for a bbl I was very nervous the staff / surgeon made me feel very comfortable, he and his sister that works there took there time on explaining step by step the procedure and even provided me with his personal number if I have any questions or concerns after my surgery, I knew I was going to look better after my surgery but I did not expect to be looking like my teen years again, he went over expectations, I had younger boys flirting with me, everywhere I went all eyes were on me, I would recommend this doctor to anyone, no need to go to the Dominican Republic because you can get the same work done in Hazelcrest with Dr. Sharma, hell cause when you get through paying for your surgery, care and flight you're going to come out about the same amount going local.
I researched for years about getting a breast lift. I work out 4-5 days per week but that's the one area that no matter what I do I know I can't change. So I decided to get a breast lift. After doing several consultations around the Chicago area I decided to go with Dr. Sharma. His staff made me feel at ease and helped make my decision that much easier. I'm still recovering so I will update over the next few weeks but I am very happy with my result thus far.

I only gain wait in my stomach and back midsection and I had a referral to Dr Bhanoo Sharma of Thrive Day Spa and Shape Cosmetic Surgery. Let me tell you about someone who works off the clock. As someone who has never had plastic surgery, I was concerned about some different symptoms of the smart lipo. With his great rating, you can guess that they were normal things like swelling and such that went away but he provided me with a number to text him directly incase I had any concerns and answered both times within an hour. The biggest thing about my post is that the surgery turned out fantastic. I am very young but to be honest, I was shaped like a bowling pin and I have Zero complaints about his abilities. I have attached a picture. Keep I'm mind, I had a hernia going into the surgery so it is shown on the bottom left side of my belly button (getting it fixed this week) but he changed the way I fit in clothes and and i tell anyone that knows about it that it is the best personal investment I have ever made.
I recently had a tummy tuck done 10 weeks ago. When I went into the doctors office for my consultation, I discussed with the Cosmetic Surgeon (he stated himself as) the procedure I wanted performed. Which included removal of tummy and waist flab. He explained to me that by the looks of my abdominal area and flanks, that I wouldn't need a full tummy tuck and that a mini tummy tuck would be just fine. He also explained to me that if after my surgery anything wasn't to my satisfaction, he would revised it for no cost. Now this was my second time visiting being seen about having a tummy tuck done. The first PS explained that all of my abdominal area (full tummy tuck) and waist flab would be removed, And he could revised my lower bra flab as well, all for a set cost. I wasn't certain on if I wanted to pay the price I was given and also commute as far from home with a procedure as this. Therefore I searched for a closer PS. After explaining and receiving feedback from the CS (2nd surgeon) for about an hour long, I decided that I was going to get it done with him because he was closer to home and wanted less of a cost. On the day of my surgery, I was nervous and anxious. The CS prepped me and gave me ProMethazine and Bactrim. During surgery he gave my Anesthesia. Somehow I still felt the tubes as he was inserting them into my tummy and back area. He told me that it was normal because he wanted me to be able to move on my own if necessary. After surgery he placed me in the recovering area where I was still a bit under sedation and placed a garment on me. As I followed up with him, a week from surgery, He gave me a bio-serum cream for speedy healing. At 2 weeks he told me, I was healing great and that the stitches would come out on their or he would take them out. He ended up taking out several from my belly button at that time. He explained that if my stitches form my incision didn't dissolve 2wks from removing those from my belly button, He would take them out which he didn't have to. At 5 wks I explained to him of the pain and lumps in my upper abdominal area and also the dog flaps(he called them) on my waist. At this time he examined my belly and explained that the lumps and swelling areas should be gone by 6-8wks and that the dog flaps could be removed at no cost. At 9wks I went back for a follow up and explained to him about the non-swelling areas on my waist area that were still flabby and that I could tell the difference from my upper and lower abdominal still being swollen. He told me that its normal for a tummy tuck and if i wanted more work performed that he would revise it for an extra cost. Now I was really shocked that he would charged me more for work that he agreed to. He told me that he did a great job and nothing was wrong. He also told me to get a second opinion from another PS. Therefore I did and the board certified PS (over 17yrs experienced) told me that my belly button was extremely to small, that I had a lot of lipo incisions for my waist and under my bra area to still be flabby(6 incision). He told me that my incision healed well and that I will need more work in the future definitely on my waist and if my swollen lumps on my front lower abdominal area which bulged out didn't go away. The surgery who did my tummy tuck was not a board certified plastic surgeon but had previous training, only performed one tummy tuck before mines and just opened in December of 2011. I still have pain all over and swelling in my upper and lower abdominal area. My abdominal area is flat on my left side( center lower abdominal) and bulge out on my right side. My belly button is so small that a q-tip can barely fit inside of it. I try not to worry and stress myself but I no other choice. This is my appearance after getting a tummy tummy which I felt would solve my flabby waist and tummy. Now I'm stuck with this. I spoke to a lawyer about it but he said he couldn't assist me because its not considered malpractice. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Updated on 24 Jul 2012: Hello, Week 11 of post op and the lower area of my stomach, around and inside of my tiny navel is still numb. I have flab on my waist and the lumps are still present as well. :-( Updated on 20 Mar 2015: I went back to Dr. Sharma to have lipo of back, flanks and abdomen. He also reconstructed my bellybutton. He has been very helpful and welcoming of me. I am now over 6wks post and my results are looking great!! Will post pics soon
I went for my pre-op consultation today & I am excited about getting my upper & lower abdomen liposuctioned! I'm to the point now where healthy eating habits & routine exercise are NO longer helping & I'm frustrated! :-( After meeting w/ my surgeon today, he made me feel much better after he shared that my goals are VERY realistic & that he can, indeed, help me get rid of my 'extra baggage". Stay tuned for before & after pics. :-)) Updated on 26 Jun 2012: I'm 6 days away from the BIG day!! I'm excited, but afraid at the same time. I'm mostly afraid of the recovery stage. I hate pain and soreness, but it'll all be well worth it! I will display post-op pics as soon as possible. :)) Updated on 28 Jun 2012: 3 MORE DAYS!!!! :-) Updated on 29 Jun 2012: 2!!!!!!!!!! Updated on 1 Jul 2012: 1!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woohoooooo!!!!!!!! Updated on 2 Jul 2012: Well, my surgery was a success, thank God! Just a wee bit sore, but nothing Hydrocodone can't handle. My Mom & daughter dropped me off & picked me up after my surgery was done. They even waited w/ me until it was time to prep for surgery. I have an AWESOME mother & daughter. I love THEM SOOOO much! They have been SUPER supportive & my backbone through this. OAN: Dr. Sharma & his team are FAB-U-LOUS!!!!!!! Before my surgery, Dr. Sharma & his Patient Care Coordinator (Renee) not only reviewed & reexplained what all was going to be done during surgery with me, but they included my Mom in this informative conversation as well. The two other staff members who helped w/ my procedure were exceptional as well & very hospitable. Their generosity, professionalism, & genuine caring mannerisms made me feel great & my nervousness subsided. THANKS, SHAPE TEAM!! You are THEE best!!!!!! My tummy is swollen. I am TOO anxious to see it when the swelling leaves. Though I'm, swollen I can tell my tummy HAS gone down. Post-Op pics shall be coming soon. Woohoooo!!! Updated on 2 Jul 2012: Well, my surgery was a success, thank God!! My Mom & daughter dropped me off & picked me up once surgery was done. They even stayed w/ me until I was called back for surgery. They both gave me the biggest kisses. I LOVE mother & daughter SOOO much. They have truly been my backbone & extra supportive through this whole situation. OAN: Dr. Sharma & his team are AWESOME!! The Doc & his Patient Coordinator, Renee even took the time to explain with my Mom what exactly was going to be done during this procedure. I thought that was awfully nice. I'm a wee bit sore, but it's nothing that Hydrocodone can't handle. As I sat in the examining room, waiting to be escorted to the operating room, I was overly excited, but a little nervous. However, after speaking w/ Renee & the Doc, my nervousness subsided. I'm swollen & cannot wait until the swelling subsides so that I can see how much flatter it gets. Stay tuned. Post-op pics will be coming soon! I FINALLY did it & I am SUPER happy! Woooohoooo!!!! Updated on 4 Jul 2012: Day 2 Post-Op: I am feeling SO much better (it's a little scary)! The soreness is almost completely gone & I only took one Hydrocodone yesterday. I can get up better & easier, compared to 2 days ago. I tried on some outfits from my closet (couldn't WAIT to do this) & they fit beautifully. I actually have not looked & felt so good in my clothes for years. I had even gotten to the point where I didn't even like to go out of the house because I was so uncomfortable & self-conscious about my body & how I looked. Now, I must say, that has all changed! I'm still swollen, but it seems as though each day, the swelling is subsiding. I plan on getting out of the house today. Too bad I can't wear shorts, but what the hey.....WHATEVER I wear, I'll look nice in it & will definitely feel comfortable. Oh yeah, I will be posting updated pics some time today :-) Updated on 5 Jul 2012: Okay, Ladies! Here are some up-to-date pics of my results thus far. I'm still swollen, mainly in the lower abdomen, but I am pleased with my progress. (All pics are with garment, of course). Updated on 6 Jul 2012: I had surgery 4 days ago & feel great! Much of my soreness is gone. I actually only took pain meds about 3 times since my surgery. I went to my "1 week" follow-up appointment today & the doc was extremely impressed w/ my results so far. He told me to continue doing whatever I'm doing because I've made really good progress in such a short time. I began gentle massaging today to help break up the hardness. My garment is so easy to get on & off now. This also let's me know that the swelling is leaving. I am SO glad I decided to have this done! Did I mention, I have my waist back....Yayyy!!! Updated on 13 Jul 2012: New Pics Are Here!!!! Updated on 16 Jul 2012: 12 Days Post-Op pics posted :)
I went to this doc about a year ago I wish I would have read his reviews before going. I got a breast lift and breast augmentation which I'm still paying for. My results are horrible I swear I felt low self-esteem about my breast but now I want to cry whenever I look in the mirror— I had 3 different surgeries with this doctor. My 1st was the breast lift he put my nipples so far up that now I can't wear a low shirt next was implants. I was so dissatisfied with my results and mad about it that I damn near went back n begged him to fix it after talking down on me and being mad about the honest review I wrote. I signed a doc saying I won't sue n paying an additional $1500 I was promised he would fix my nipples and make my breast the same size cause one was sagging more than the other he said as a black girl my skin was basically messed up and that's why. So surgery 3 when he was done it looked okay nipple was still basically put on top of my breast but whatever— after about a month they sagged again and I noticed one is sagging more than the other. I have had run-ins with that whole office except Denise I wish I would have done my homework on them. Listen to me, Don't go here go somewhere else I hate to bash a place but I swear to God this man did a horrible job, even my boyfriend said I shoulda went somewhere else. I hate taking off my bra, please listen he doesn't have a clue— spend that extra money and go somewhere with some talent— this doc needs to b closed down.
