I had my bbl done by Dr Martinez at Spectrum Aesthetic. He is an older Dr and English doesn't appear to be his first language. But he definitely snatched my waistline. He did my upper back and lower back including flanks , under my breast and entire abdomen. He told me he wants to get rid of my back rolls. Not gonna drag this out just gonna get straight into before and after pictures. I will upload more post opt photos when I feel better still in pain. I have been emailing back and forth with surgical coordinator Emily Ron, for the past two years on and off. They are super attentive, and always respond to me within a timely manner.After not being in contact for a few months, I decided I was finally ready to book my BBL. I emailed Emily yesterday 3/27/17 and she got back to me today 03/28/17. We chatted on the phone and she took my down payment. She forwarded me 4 attachments of paperwork that needed to me filled and esigned. After that, she asked for a photo copy of my ID. Can't wait for 6/10! I do still kind of want to get down to 160 lbs before surgery though. yay or nay? Updated on 4 Apr 2017: 67 More days!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm seeing such great results on spectrum's instagram page. I'm currently 176 pounds... and 5'3. Contemplating on losing weight.. A majority of my fat is in my lower abdomen. I dont want a huge badonkadonk! Lol. I just want a flat stomach and small waist, and a booty good enough to wear a thong bikini in!!!! So to lose 10 lbs or try to maintain this same weight??? I stayed in Miami for 7 nights, it was a 2 hour and 45 minute flight home. I sat most of the time, got up a few times for circulation. *** pre op *** I did not meet with the doctor at all. I met him the day of my surgery. He was nice, didn't speak much English though. He told me that I had a lot of visceral fat which couldn't be treated with lipo, but he'd get all the fat under the skin. I have a naturally small waist but he snatched it even more. The first three days are excruciating, I wanted to die. I'm feeling some soreness in my glutes and flanks today. I took a nap without my lipo foams and just a garment when I got home last night absolutely started swelling like crazy.... so won't be doing that again. Updated on 18 Jun 2017:

Hi dolls! I decided to go with Dr. Martinez at Spectrum Aesthetics after seeing his Before and after pics and his reviews ( and his special)! lol I am desiring a big booty and curvy hips to match my big breast and cute face! I have two children ages 7 and 8 yrs and they took my body thru hell! My husband of 11 yrs has no complaints but I am just not happy with the way I fit into my clothes so Its time for mommy to do something for mommy and get this body back! Updated on 3 May 2017: Ok so I have been diagnosed anemic my entire life and my hemoglobin is usually around a 8.2. I function very well at a 8.2 but i guess I'm a little bit more tired than most. Well we all know that most plastic surgeons won't operate unless your hemo is at least a 12 so I begin my journey to get my hemo up to a 12. I took over the counter 65mg Iron pills from my local CVS and I felt fine but I thought I may need a extra boost so I stopped taking those pills and ordered Hemaplex from Amazon. I took Hemaplex with 1000mg Vitamin C and folic acid. I instantly begin to feel like I was experiencing morning sickness. I was always nausea and it caused major diarrhea everyday all day. SOOO while experiencing these side effects I decided I wanted to see if it was even worth it to continue to put myself threw this. Luckily I work in a hospital's lab and I can easily draw my own blood and check my hemo at any time. After two weeks on Hemaplex and feeling like garbage, my hemo went from a 8.2 to a 11.5! Of course I did a major victory dance! I just don't know if I'm willing to keep taking them. I may continue until I do my medical clearance in a couple weeks but thats it. I can't take the stomach issues! So its a fact HEMAPLEX works very fast but its hard on the stomach! Good Luck Dolls! Updated on 5 Jun 2017: I have done everything in my power to get my iron up to where it needs to be for my surgery NEXT week, I totally lost track of my weight! I have seven days to lose 10lbs! I am soooo upset! I mean I have jumped through hoops to get everything in line for this freakin surgery now its my weight! I don't know what to do! If my surgery is rescheduled I will be devastated! HELP! My BMI is a 31 because I'm tall and regardless of BMI Dr. Martinez will not operate if you are over 200lbs. I have real tears running down my face right now! I'm super nervous and excited at the same time. Spectrum has been great so far! Staff is welcoming and down to earth, however I don't see why they seem so busy when you are calling them. It's maybe two patients in here that I can see at a time. Maybe they are busy but there scheduling and patient flow is just great. Idk! Talk to you all later because I got to go get this fat ass! Lol Updated on 19 Jun 2017: So I went to Martinez on Wednesday at 830am, I waited for about two hours before my surgery started. Martinez came in about 10 minutes before the surgery and introduced himself, mark me up and take pictures. Martinez refused to look at any of my pictures and when I commented about the things I wanted him to focus on the most (such as dents in my hips, size of my tummy, etc) he stated "This will not improve, it's your genes!" I did not feel comfortable with going into surgery because I felt like my wishes were not clear or being heard. I went into surgery at 10:30 and was awaken at 3:00pm. I woke up to being put in a wheelchair and rolled to my ride. No one made sure I was coherent or even able to walk. Needless to say when I woke up the following day to look at my results, I was disappointed. My butt looks like he added fat to the sides of my butt and the top of my butt. The middle of my butt feels absolutely normal and looks normal. My tummy was liposuctioned very well. As of today I am not happy with my results but hopefully as the swelling goes down, they will improve. Spectrum Aesthetics is leading patients on by falsely advertising Dr. Martinez work on IG and fb. They have also infiltrated realself with fake profiles to counteract the negative reviews. I had my surgery about 3 weeks ago. I was not happy with the results post op but I knew that most people aren't happy right away. I was warned not to go to Dr. Martinez but in effort to save the money I had already spent I still went to him hoping for the best. As I said I'm 3wks post op and no only is my butt asymmetric but it is almost completely the same size as I was post op. All of my clothes fit absolutely the same other than a looser in my tummy area. I feel like a complete fool at this point. I wasted so much money and time. What makes it worse is that I'm still in pain from a bbl that it looks like I didn't even have! Now in stuck in a situation where I don't know if I should get the revision done at Spectrum because they would be responsible for some of the cost or do I just start all over with a new doctor which means much more money! I honestly can't believe this has happened to me! DO NOT GO TO DR MARTINEZ! You will thank me later. I hope this reaches someone...

Hello ladies! I want to say that he was the worst doctor I could have for my first surgery but thank GOD I am continuing in live now and I'm sure that I won't go through something similar with that " Dr" again. He has no professionalism and for him everything it is always good when I feel that it doesn't.

PLS DO NO WASTE UR TIME OR MONEY. I went to doctor martinez in my cosmetic surgery for a tummy tuck and lipo, he did nothing but a huge scar on me. Spoke to him and he said he could do a scar revision. Is not only the scar but the whole tummy tuck that needs to be fix. I look exactly the same way except with a huge scar now. HIS SURGIAN LISENCE IS SUSPENDED. I have already filled lawsuit.

I've waited 3 months for a answer in a revision for a bbl for a fucked up job he done. He tells me he can't help me please ladies dont waste your money with this doctor!! He tells me he can't help me are you serious I've seen bodies way worse than mine that are beautiful. I am very upset and disappointed in Spectrum aesthetics and Dr. Martinez. I also met another last on here who wasn't happy with her results and he told her the same thing! Updated on 5 Oct 2017: I've waited 3 months for a answer on rather I'd get a revision and he says he can't help me [RS bleep]!! He is not worth time he doesnt care rather your happy or not!! I'm livid and will be letting women know dont spend your money with this joke!! Fyi he smelled of alcohol the day of my procedure! Updated on 7 Oct 2017: So I was livid when Dr. Martinez told me he couldn't help me and he wouldn't be doing a revison! So Angela from Soecturm called me told me she had spoken to management and that they are gonna give me a revision! Dr. Martinez is no longer at Spectrum aesthetics! My revision will be with Dr Dowback! Havent made an official date but so happy and thankful!

I flew out to Miami to have a procedure done on the 22nd of May. My PCM sent all of my paperwork over to Spectrum as well as proof of my EKG. Spectrum was aware of my medical history as well as the medications that I was taking. After receiving clearance from my Doctor Spectrum also sent me a letter informing me that I was cleared for surgery. I went to Spectrum on the 23rd of May for my Pre-Op appointment and was given a urinalysis. After I left I received a call from Spectrum stating that they were not going to perform my surgery due to a prescription that I was taking. Spectrum was well aware that I was taking the prescription and not once did they call to inform me that I needed to stop the prescription 5 days prior to my surgery as I was later told and it was not noted in the paperwork that was emailed to me. I returned to Spectrum the following day and spoke to Dr. Martinez who was very rude. In my doctors paperwork my doctor noted that I was to take all my medications as usual. Dr. Martinez told me that my Doctor did not know what he was talking about and because of the medications I was taking he would not be performing my surgery. I asked him did he not read my records from my Doctor before I arrived to Miami and he walked out of the room. Not only did I waste money on my flight to Miami, but I also had to pay for another plane ticket home that was 500.00 I had to pay a 260.00 deposit to the recovery home that I was supposed to stay at which was non-refundable. The hotel room which was 300.00, 50.00 for supplies, not to mention the Ubers that I had to take back and forth to Spectrum. This was not any fault of mine which is why I refunded the full cost of my surgery but my deposit should have been refunded as well. I would like my 500.00 refunded back to me. Spectrum should be ashamed of themselves and I pray that no other individual should have to go through what I went through with Spectrum.

So I'm very excited and anxious about traveling to Miami this week to get my first surgery done . I went with the bbl before tummy tuck because I always wanted a fuller butt . I lost 65 Linda over the last years. I went from 230 to 165 and even though that's an accomplishment I'm still not satisfied with my body . Advice and feed back on experiences are very appreciated .
