Age-related laxity doesn’t just affect the face—it can also cause droopy, wrinkled eyelids and under-eye bags. At our practice in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin metropolitan area, I offer eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) to help reverse signs of aging, brighten your appearance, and correct inherited or developed traits such as under-eye bags and droopy eyelids. Using small incisions along natural skin creases, I remove or reposition excess skin, fat, and muscles around the eyes without producing the “hollow” appearance that comes with overaggressive treatment. Eyelid surgery is quick, results in minimal scarring, and involves very little recovery (sutures are removed in three to four days and any minor swelling or bruising is usually gone within a week).
