Dr. Sepehr has truly exceeded my expectations at every turn. He is a genuinely kind-hearted, caring person AND a uniquely talented and experienced facial plastic surgeon. I did an unbelievable amount of research to find the BEST revision rhinoplasty surgeon in the entire country, and there is no doubt that Dr. Ali Sepehr is it. From my very first consultation with Dr. Sepehr I knew he was the surgeon for me. His before & after photos are exactly what I was looking for. His calm, gentle, and reassuring demeanour was like a breath of fresh air. I feel as though he really cares about me as a person and patient. I also LOVE the way that he always speaks to and about ALL of his patients in such a kind, supportive way (Check out his website before & after photos and his Instagram to see what I mean). Jacqueline, Judy, Tessa, Jordan, and his entire office team are also absolutely phenomenal. They are warm, attentive, knowledgeable, and eager to address any questions or concerns. I have felt appreciated and cared for as a patient by both Dr. Sepehr and his team all along, which really sets them apart. I sought out Dr. Sepehr's help for a complex revision rhinoplasty to correct a 2021 primary septorhinoplasty and 2022 revision rhinoplasty that completely butchered my nose. That surgeon left me with a large, uncomfortable, and useless butterfly graft in my nose, a drastically altered nose shape, and did not address my deviated septum, which was the whole point to begin with. Dr. Sepehr was extremely patient and diligent in reviewing my medical history, operative reports, before/after photos, and goal outcome photos with me. Dr. Sepehr was not only able to address ALL of my aesthetic concerns, but he also corrected my deviated septum. I could not be more thrilled with the results of my surgery with him. He has given me back my self-confidence, my face, and my ability to breathe well through my nose. There is truly not another surgeon on the planet I would have trusted with this surgery and I don't believe any other surgeon could have achieved an outcome this perfect for me. My nose is literally perfect in every way. I would recommend Dr. Sepehr and only Dr. Sepehr to anyone who is seeking facial plastic surgery. PS - When I first discovered Dr. Sepehr I wondered if the mountain of positive reviews were too good to be true. This is not the case at all. Dr. Sepehr deserves every commendation and more. He is an angel on earth and the most gifted surgeon. I feel incredibly grateful and fortunate to be his patient.
I went to Dr. Ali Sepehr, OC Facial Plastic Surgery, to fix a botched revision rhinoplasty I had received from a doctor in Houston, TX. My nose was a nightmare from the other surgeon. Horrible. I did not want to leave the house for a year. It shut down my life. Before the surgery, I had a small, adorable nose. The Houston doctor made it huge and created a square box tip. I was devastated. Then I learned of Doctor Sepehr in Orange County, CA. I flew to California from Texas, and after my consultation, I knew I had found the doctor who could correct what had been done to me. I'm about five months post my Revision of the revision rhinoplasty. And, WOW, I LOVE the results. Outstanding doctor! He is an incredible person, kind, thoughtful, and compassionate, and he is a highly talented, meticulous doctor who is artistic and competent. Highly trustworthy and honest! I highly recommend him. And his staff is terrific! They listen and care about you. OC Facial Plastic Surgery is a treasure. So happy I went to him! I plan to go back and have more work done.
I loved my experience with Dr. Sepehr! I had originally scheduled a consultation for a revision rhinoplasty. I had my first rhinoplasty about 5 years ago from breaking it many times playing sports in college. I noticed the tip of my nose had "drooped" down over the years and wanted to know what my options were. (And if it was safe to have another surgery). He was my third consultation about this, and the only Dr. to be super honest and transparent about my options. (Which I really appreciated). I wasn't the best candidate for another rhinoplasty, so we ended up deciding to do a "liquid rhinoplasty" which is when you add filler to the nose. We gave mine a little lift and some more dimension/ shape where it had lost some or became uneven in surgery. I cant say enough good things about the whole process. Dr. Sepehr was very patient, listened to everything I had to say, and was honest in the consultation, he was gentle and talented when it came to doing the filler. (I didn't even swell!), and the whole experience from checking in with the super friendly girls in the office to the actual treatments were just what I was looking for. They make you feel super comfortable and confident. I would recommend his practice to anyone looking to improve anything they feel a little self-conscious about. You wont regret it :) Oh and my nose looks amazing- I didn't know this amount of lift could be achieved with filler. I'm so happy I decided to go for it!
Dr. Sepehr performed an otoplasty on my 11-year-old last year and did a phenomenal job. Her ears used to stick out quite a bit and she was very self-conscious about them. Dr. Sepehr really listened to her needs and took his time explaining what the procedure and post-op entailed. He and his staff took such good care of her throughout the entire process, from our first meeting until our one-year check-up today. Any time we had questions, his office got back to me immediately and would schedule an immediate appointment if needed. I recommend Dr. Sepehr to everyone I know - he is a true artist with an incredible bedside manner.
I'm going to start off my saying my full name, so if anyone wants to find me and look up my before and afters they can, it's Ariele Chapman. When I was 16 years old, I started to not love myself, I hated how my nose looked compared to my friends. I'd compare myself to everyone on the internet, Instagram, movies...everything. I used to take my fingers and place them on my nose in front of my mirror and imagine what I'd look like with a different nose. I'd cry often about my appearance and always felt ugly. My friends would say, "oh stop, you're beautiful," but it didn't matter what they said, I didn't feel that way. My mother would allow me to look into doctors for a rhinoplasty, but I was always afraid to follow through, or the doctor didn't feel right to me. My gut was telling me just wait. More time went on and as I got older- late twenties, my nose was changing with age, the hump started getting bigger, the nose started drooping more at the tip and seemed more witch like, and as a wedding photographer, I couldn't even bring myself to allow my assistants to get any behind the scenes of me, in fear of seeing my nose at a bad angle. I stopped wanting my portraits done, I just didn't want to be documented. I spent my entire life taking photos of other people, making them feel their best, but I never got to feel that way. I looked into dozens of doctors, the kind in Beverly Hills that everyone tells you to go to, or those Instagram famous doctors, I made appointments, spent money on consultations, and again it never felt right. I was afraid I wasn't ever going to do anything about how I felt, I was settling. My own wedding was coming up, and I finally said, "I AM GOING TO DO THIS," because all I could think about was hating my photos, hating myself, I just wanted to feel beautiful, I felt I deserved that. I started my search again for a doctor, and posted on social media to see who people went to. Again, I went to doctor after doctor, and was met with this weird feeling. Some doctors were too in love with themselves, some doctors were too cold and lacked a personality, some doctors saw you as a quick chop chop, and some never posted any angles but the sides. Finally, one of my former clients said, "go to my friend," I felt so defeated from my search, but I was FIVE months out from my wedding, and figured this will be my last resort at finding a doctor. I called immediately and was greeted by the most wonderful office staff on the phone. They were warm, understanding, and easy to talk to, which is very important, as I am definitely a talker. They found me a spot for a consult a week or two after my call to come in, I figured what's one more doctor's appointment? On the day of my consult, the office staff was so lovely, and I felt comfortable, it wasn't stuffy, it was like visiting friends. I went in for my appointment with Dr. Sepher, and felt at ease. I asked him if I should do filler or a rhinoplasty, and we agreed rhinoplasty was the best option. He took photos of me at all angles, and then we sat down to discuss what outcome I wanted. I am very type A, with A.D.D, so I tend to talk fast and have anxious tendencies, and he never once made me feel bad about who I was. I explained my self-image issues, and he wanted to help me be comfortable in my own skin. He listened to me, answered all my outlandish questions, and trust me my questions were wild. I just wanted to be prepared and ask everything I could, and he answered everything. His demeanor is calm and relaxed, and he has a personality, which is rare in doctors sometimes. (No offense to any doctors reading this). After answering all my concerns, and seeing past work, and hearing about the game plan for my nose, I finally felt like this was my doctor, and it was. It's not just a one-day thing, it's a full year's process, so you need to choose a doctor who is going to be around for all your checkups and post-surgical care. One that is honest with you and one that you can trust.I went over the paperwork, and looked over the price, and went home to talk with my mom about it. (I'm 33, and still wanted to get my mom's feedback). We talked about how you pay what you get for. A doctor who has decades of experience, top education, one that can deal with not just the exterior of the nose, but the interior as well. Looks are JUST as important as breathing correctly, so I put down a deposit and booked my nose job for sept 2023. They were able to get me in with JUST enough time to heal before my wedding. (Disclaimer, it does take a full year to heal, but by 4-5 months no one would notice any swelling). The day of surgery everything went well and the surgical staff was amazing as well as the center. Dr Sepher discussed once more the game plan, and just confirmed what I wanted, they gave me medicine earlier on for my anxiety, because I told them I am VERY afraid of being put under. I woke up from surgery, went home and slept most of the first day. The next day I went back to the Doctor for my one-day checkup. Throughout the process for any questions the doctor and his staff were there for me. I was having some itching from the tape, and the doctor made sure to write me a script to help with that. I healed super-fast and all my friends were surprised at how quickly I looked normal. I went in for some of the stitches to be removed on day 3 and 5, and Dr. Sepher was extremely gentle while removing them, he even gave me little breaks in between stitches just to catch my breath. Day 8 was when my splints and cast came off, don't be afraid, it doesn't hurt, it's just a weird pressure sensation, again he was very docile. My nose looked better than ever, and that was even with the swelling. At my 2-week checkup and 1 month checkup, Dr. Sepher treated me like an old friend, it was refreshing to have a doctor who actually cared about his patients, and with every checkup my nose got even prettier.I am 4.5 months post op, and my nose is more beautiful than I could have dreamed. I was getting ready to go out for an event, and I told my fiancé that finally for the first time in my life I no longer need to take my fingers and imagine what my nose would look like with surgery, I no longer need to waste minutes and hours out of my day obsessing over it. It was like a huge weight off my shoulders, it made me feel lighter. My rhinoplasty made my entire face look better, softer, more feminine, and complimented me so much better than the nose that I was born with. I had my first re-branding photoshoot done, and couldn't believe that the pretty girl in the photos was ACTUALLY me. I didn't need to photoshop my nose smaller, get rid of the bump, and asymmetry, I am not joking but I actually cried. It's one thing to imagine yourself with a rhinoplasty, but to literally do it, changes everything.I also went back to Dr. Sepher for Botox and some filler as well in my lips, which I had wanted to do forever, but was again, also afraid. It was a cake walk and didn't hurt at all. I cannot recommend Dr. Sepher and his staff enough, I openly tell anyone I meet about my rhinoplasty when they tell me I have a cute nose. Dr. Sepher is kind, empathetic, and extremely talented. He is one in a million. If you have ever not loved yourself and have been wanting to fix the thing that bothers you, please choose this incredible doctor. He is a godsend and I am so grateful I didn't give up hope and finally found possibly the world's best plastic surgeon. I cannot express my gratitude for all he has done for me. I am excited to see what my nose looks like at the 1 year mark, but I wanted to leave this here if anyone is struggling to choose a doctor, or is second guessing having work done. P.S they chocolate in the waiting room, so that's a bonus.
I am so very pleased with my results and experience. Dr. Sepher is highly credentialed; extremely skillful; meticulous and gentle; and delivered on exactly what we discussed at all prior consultations. I would recommend him to anyone considering making a change to their eyes, nose, and/or chin. He is truly an artist and was able to preserve a very natural and refined look while also improving my breathing. Beyond this, his staff is very knowledgeable, communicated regularly pre and post procedure, and responded to all inquiries immediately. I am so fortunate to have this practice and will be returning for all of my future facial treatments. Thank you Dr. Sepher, Jacqueline, Danielle, and entire team!
Dr. Sepehr is incredible. The environment when you walk in is amazing too. Danielle is awesome. I got the rhinoplasty procedure and could not be happier with my decision. The staff is quick to respond.
I wanted to wait to post this review until the results had settled and I could get a good photo because the before and after photos on the site just don't do it justice. I was involved in an accident as a child and as a result my nose was damaged inside and out. I have been a patient of Dr. Sepehr's for several years now and there is nobody else I would trust with my face. The initial consultation was amazing from the time I was welcomed into the office by his amazing office staff to the time I left(with a chocolate or two!). Dr. Sepehr took his time with me, informed me of my options, discussed any concerns I had, and, most importantly, didn't make me feel bad about my face (I had this experience in the past with a prior consultation with another surgeon) or invalidate any of my feelings. He is an incredibly gentle, genuine person and truly understands the transformative nature of what he does. The surgical process was EASY. The surgery center was fantastic and I felt very well taken care of. I was well-supported by Dr. Sepehr and his staff through the after care with regular visits and phone check-ins. Every single concern or question has been handled quickly and I am so unbelievably grateful I chose Dr. Sepehr. This surgery has changed me. I no longer see a scar on my face instead of a nose, I feel more confident, less conscious of my nose, I love having photos taken of me now, it has been a total turn around. I no longer feel like a damaged nose with a person attached, I feel like a person with a nose. He didn't just address the physical concerns, my nose now functions better and I'm able to breathe properly along with a whole host of other benefits. I love my new nose...Dr. Sepehr gave me the one I was born with back again. There is so much more that I can say, but I will finish up with this...I'm only sorry that I didn't do it earlier. The financial investment is truly an investment in yourself and I am already seeing more returns than I could have ever asked for. Unbelievebly greatful.
Wow great guy...and very dreamy <3. Honest and knowledgeable. You know how you can just tell when someone's a good person? Free consult which is unheard of for the (long) time he graciously spent with me plus all the chocolate and soda in his very nice waiting room.
I have always had a full round face. My weight has always fluctuated but my face has always been my biggest insecurity. I have always loved my features but my double chin ALWAYS made me feel insecure and really made me shy away from a lot of things in my life. Filters became my best friend but it doesn’t change real life looks. I did a lot or research on face lipo & did a few consultations. Since my consult with Dr. Ali Sepehr my life has seriously changed for the BEST. He was genuine & took his time speaking with me. I told him what I wanted out of my look & he gave me realistic & honest goals. I trusted him from the beginning because of his demeanor & staff. I felt supported and confident and I hadn’t even gotten any work done. I paid for my procedures and booked that same day. My healing was way better then i had read about and my healing was a walk in the park. I actually enjoyed seeing all the changes throughout the weeks in my recovery. Dr. Sepehr was literally there the entire time and called me to make sure I was recovering well and If i had any questions in the process. I have a jawline!!! My chin looks incredible. All my features and my face as a whole is completely proportionate. I had seriously no bruising and no pain. I only took 1 week off work. Its amazing how your life changes so much and the confidence you get back. Updated on 9 Apr 2019: Updated on 9 Apr 2019:
Dear Latisse user, Latisse has a long track record of use and is relatively safe. It increases the length of time before eyelashes fall out, allowing them to get longer, thicker, and darker. It can cause a little darkening of the skin at the lash line which is thought to mostly be reversible if the medication is stopped. It does not have other side effects on the eyelids, therefore, it will not affect the results of the eyelid lift.
Dear San Diego Rhinoplasty Patient, Bumps after rhinoplasty are uncommon. They can represent bone, cartilage, or soft tissue. They can be treated at the right time. Please discuss it with your surgeon so he or she can diagnose and treat it. It will not get worse with exercise. The overlying skin can be under some pressure, which increases with the increased blood flow. This increased pressure may be why it throbs during exercise. I hope this is helpful to you, Ali Sepehr, MD Facial Plastic Surgeon, Irvine, Orange County, California
Dear Patient in San Francisco, Without an examination of your nose, it is not possible to determine if your description is within the normal limits of the course of healing after rhinoplasty. While one month after rhinoplasty it is normal to expect some degree of swelling, there should never be a collection of fluid. If there is, it should be drained. It would be prudent to see your surgeon. He or she would know exactly what was done (eg. any grafts placed), and would be able to determine if all is ok. Good communication before and after surgery is important to for the healing process. I hope this is helpful for you, Ali Sepehr, MD Facial Plastic Surgeon, Irvine, Orange County, California
Dear Patient, Whether you are a candidate for a chin augmentation vs orthognathic surgery (advancing the entire mandible), one would have to evaluate your bite. If you have an overbite, then you may want to consider orthognathic surgery. If your teeth are meeting properly, then you would be a candidate for chin augmentation. Chin augmentation can be performed either by a genioplasty (reshaping the bone under the chin) or by a chin implant. Both can move the chin forward and downward (given the proper implant is chosen). You can consider addressing the neck to optimize the results. Your options would include liposuction, platysmaplasty, or face and neck lift. I hope this is helpful to you, Ali Sepehr, MD Facial Plastic Surgeon Irvine, Orange County, California
Dear Patient, There will be some swelling after the removal, but probably less than the placement. Could there be some change? Yes. However, your skin should ultimately not end up with much effect from having gone through this. In other words, it should not be noticeably more stretched. This amount will depend on your skin. Given your age and good health, your skin likely still has good elasticity and the ability to contract. But other factors would include ethnicity and history of sun exposure. I hope this is helpful, Ali Sepehr, MD Irvine, Orange County, California Facial Plastic Surgeon
