So Thankful and Happy!
WORTH IT
before & after a nose story
In 2021 I received a septorhinoplasty in NC. I was told that the only way for me to be able to breathe better would be to undergo a septoplasty and harvest cartilage from my ear to insert a butterfly graft into my nose. I loved the look of my original nose and would never have had surgery if my nasal breathing wasn’t terrible. My breathing improved a little but my nose was unrecognizable. In 2022 that same surgeon did a revision to try to correct some bulky cartilage, droopy tip, overprotection, and aesthetic issues. Unfortunately, everything just got worse. At all times my nose felt like someone had taken a knife, cut it all up, then haphazardly glued it back together. If I moved my nose at all fragments of cartilage would pop over each other, which was visible and painful. I lost a ton of confidence and I cried almost any time I saw a photo of myself. Finally, I decided I owed it to myself to at least try to find a surgeon who I felt 100% comfortable with and that I truly believed could achieve the results I needed.
Just shy of a year ago (March 2025) Dr. Ali Sepehr (@dralisepehr) performed my third nose surgery - an open septorhinoplasty. This procedure gave me my face, nose, confidence, and life back. It is one of the greatest gifts of my entire life. I breathe better than I ever have. It is euphoric to recognize and actually love my face again. Grateful for him and for my current nose the understatement of the century. I never thought I would be this happy with my nose or face again. The difference Dr. Sepehr and this revision rhinoplasty has made in my life is invaluable. I couldn’t recommend him more highly!
