I had my first son 18 yrs ago. I said then I wanted breast implants. 17 yrs ago, had my 2nd son... Again said I'll get a breast augmentation. 16 yrs ago my first daughter was born. Still wanting breast implants. Finally 12 yrs ago my last daughter was born. My want for breast implants has never changed and I was fortunate enough to have no stretch marks on my belly, I always went right back to my pre pregnancy size (1-3) and weight (115-120). But after my last daughter, I began working out in about 2012. I was in great shape, the just stopped. I noticed my c section scars were beginning to have a "shelf" above them... My want for breast implants slot changed to wanting a tummy tuck. Finally, this year 2020, I decided to do both. And this is my journey.

Whoa girl you look phenomenal!! My surgery is schedule for 6/8. I think I’m most anxious for what the pain will be like. Did you get any lipo done?
April 20, 2020
Thank you! And yes, I had tummy tuck with liposuction and 385CCs moderate plus profile silicone implants. I posted an update a couple of days ago about the pain. Were you able to read that?

How did u get ur stomach to heal
April 21, 2020
It is still healing in 3 tiny spots. I guess my update has to be reviewed before it's published. It has pictures. First I'm not happy with the shape of my incision, how right in the center it goes up. Then, if you looked at my pictures above, the one that says 3 weeks post op you see alot of white tissue, all if that healed thick and lumpy. My scar is getting darker despite me putting scar gel everyday. There's only one spot that healed perfectly... Right on my tattoo, so I can have it redone to say what it said before. Also, I'm still having pain in my mid abdomen, I would guess the section where Dr repaired my muscles. But I posted 7 week post op pictures once they publish my update.

4/15 Update - Pain

edwaat1
I forgot to mention, the pain I felt when I woke up in recovery was the worst pain I'd ever felt in my life! It was more in my breasts, I was expecting to feel an engorged feeling, but I cannot describe the pain I felt. It was so bad. They gave me IV pain meds before discharge, as soon I got into my vehicle I took the pain medication they prescribed along with a muscle relaxer. It eases the pain just enough to get to the hotel 20 minutes away. By that time I was crying, my husband was getting my bedside set up so I can be sitting up. I woke up every 2 hours in excruciating pain. Finally I decided to double the the dose of pain meds, as it was a low dose I was given, take my muscle relaxer and another med I was prescribed and was able to sleep for 4 hours. I know everyone has a different pain tolerance, but wow! I didn't know mine had changed so much over the years since my last C-section. It took at least 1 1/2- 2 weeks before I no longer Rx pain medication. I still was taking a muscle relaxer though.

7 week post op

edwaat1
Here I am 7 weeks post op today. My breast are completely healed and feel fine. If I didn't know I had implants I'd think they were mine. My tummy on the other hand, I still have 3 tiny areas, which are pictured, that are healing because at my 4 week post op Dr. had to cut some meat out of these areas that weren't healing. There were internal sutures coming through. So those areas were little holes left to heal. I feel like my entire tummy scar is getting darker. I am not happy with the shape of it in the first place, how right in the center it goes up, see in the pictures, but now the whole thing is getting darker despite me putting scar gel everyday. I don't know how long the pain in the abdomen is supposed to last, but my mid abdomen from right above my belly button to about 3-4 inches below my breasts, the area where my muscles were repaired and stitched together, is still pretty sore. It still feels like I've done 500 crunches. When I put pressure on the area, it feels better. I still am wearing my compression garment and ab board. If I don't wear them, it feels like my insides will fall out. Sometimes when I go out, driving, getting in and out of the car, walking around long times, well, right before the quarantine, my tummy would be so painful and uncomfortable I'd have to stay in the car. I asked my Dr. how long this pain usually lasts, but still waiting on a response.

Hang in there! You look great!!! I'm 8 weeks post op for TT and breast lift. I'm still wearing my binder with a medical 8x10 foam pad too. It's quite comfortable on and without it I feel soreness. I think that because I had no stomach muscles or core strength before the surgery so it's taking me longer to feel back to normal. It gets better and better though so I'm not too worried yet. My scare is huge, hipbone to hipbone and shaped like a huge smile. It goes so high up on the ends, I won't be able to wear anything but a one piece bathing suit I think but I can't believe I have a flat stomach for the first time in 20 years so it's so worth it to me. Hang in there, the discomfort will o away with time.

Thanks! I definitely have to keep my compression garment on all the time. I have an ab board but ordered some foam board to put under and on my sides to prevent creases from my garment. And I wish my incision looked like a smile! Did you look at my pictures? Right in the center it dips down then up then down again then goes back to the smile pattern. It is low enough though it doesn't show with any panties I've worn. And I'm definitely pleased my waist went from being about 34" to now 26". I think it was worth it.

You look good! Was it worth it ? I'm booked for TT Lipo and BA in June (MMO). I work from home. I wanted to know how long I will do you think I will have to take off work ? How long until your back to normal ?
April 21, 2020
It was worth it for me. I went back to work 9 days after. I had a desk job, but I could only handle about 3-4 hours of just sitting there, so I'd go home after that. It definitely feels better to keep moving than to just be sitting still for hours. I'm still having pain in my abdomen, where my muscles were repaired.
