Before coming to Dr. Shanley, I have to admit that I was incredibly nervous and hesitant about Botox/Dysport. I wasn’t sure it was for me, and wanted to make sure I still looked and felt like myself. Suffice it to say that after my experience at Skin MD, I feel more confident and like myself than ever. It’s honestly a rare luxury to find a provider who is as much a scientist as she is an artist. Dr. Shanley treated my concerns with genuine kindness and patience and answered every question with a level of knowledge and insight that only a doctor of her caliber can provide. There is a profound sense of security and comfort in knowing that the person consulting you is the same skilled hand performing the injections. With the help of Carmen, one of Skin MD’s brilliant NPs, the injection entry points were marked on my face, shown to me, and then, only with my approval did Dr. Shanley proceed. ?She is remarkably efficient — a testament to her mastery — yet she never once makes you feel like a line item on a busy schedule. I am so happy with the results and the experience that I’ll happily make the trip from New York to Boston just to remain under her care. As the saying goes, distance makes the heart grow fonder…and the forehead and crow’s feet smoother (right?!)??Thank you SO much, Dr. Shanley and Carmen!

This location is absolutely beautiful. The staff are kind, friendly and help with all your needs. Making appointments are super easy, they’re will to be flexible and try and work with your busy schedules. The treats are phenomenal, everyone staff member here has been great with all treatments.

I recently saw Dr. Shanley for Botox, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! It was my first time, and she made the entire experience so easy, quick, and completely painless. She’s incredibly sweet, professional, and knowledgeable, and she took the time to explain everything to me and make sure I felt comfortable. The results are amazing — it honestly looks like I got a subtle eyebrow lift, and everything looks so natural and refreshed. I’ve gotten so many compliments already! I had a great experience at SkinMD in Hanover. I went in for a consultation and met with Alycia and Mel. They explained my options and answered all my questions. I decided to schedule my FaceTite procedure. I had my procedure done last week and am already so happy with my results. Dr. Shanley and Joey were amazing along with the rest of the care team. Joey called the next day to check in and Alycia checked in with me a few days after. Everyone has been amazing. The procedure itself was not as bad as I expected and the postop pain was very tolerable. I highly recommend SkinMD and the FaceTite procedure. Results get better as time goes on, so I can’t wait l!!

Dr. Shanley is amazing! I have been going to SkinMD for years and they have not only changed my skin but changed my life. Dr. Shanley and I would discuss in detail my goals about what I was looking for and how I wanted to feel. Never pressure to do any procedures or anything I was not comfortable with. About 5 months ago I decided I wanted FaceTite ahead of my June wedding so I felt more confident about myself on my big day. Dr. Shanley and the staff at SkinMD made the process so easy and comfortable and I had a full understanding of pre and post procedure care. On the day of the procedure Dr. Shanley walked me through everything as it was happening and I felt completely confident the entire time. Post procedure Dr. Shanley answered all of my questions without hesitation and was an incredible resource which doesn’t always happen. The results of the FaceTite are incredible - and made a huge difference in photos etc for my wedding but also in my everyday life. I can not recommend Dr. Shanley or SkinMD more, the work they do, their care in every clients goals, and their ability to let you make decisions about what is best for you is incredible. I would recommend them to anyone from procedures to Botox to filler to facials to product recommendations. Truly the best in the business!!
