Mr Sawyer is wonderful. He’s a brilliant and talented surgeon but in addition to this he’s very kind, compassionate, professional and genuine. He was very reassuring and pragmatic, he listened and I felt immediately that I was in very safe hands. He very carefully explained everything and I was given ample opportunity to ask any questions. I had never had cosmetic surgery before so was apprehensive but from the initial contact with his amazing secretaries, my consultation with Adam, the operation day, just generally all the way through the experience to my post operative appointments I have felt at ease. I had consultations with other doctors but there was just that extra special care that came from Adam and his staff that really stood out for me. After my initial consultation with Adam, I just knew he was the surgeon for me. Nothing has ever been too much trouble, and he has really taken care of me, which I feel is really important when you do essentially put yourself in a vulnerable situation when discussing things you may not be happy with in regards to your appearance. Since my operation, any queries I have had, both Adam and his lovely secretaries have made me feel listened to and supported.The result of my surgery, even just a few weeks post-op has already given me such confidence in my appearance and for that I will always be thankful to Adam for. It was something I’ve really struggled with but Adam never made me feel ‘not normal’ but was also able to do exactly what I was looking for. The scarring is minimal and the recovery process relatively pain free and easy (obviously all operations come with some pain when healing and the body can take time to do this). Hi Michelle, I am aware of no evidence that minoxidil improves scar appearance. The evidence based treatments are factors careful surgery, comorbidity control, silicone, steroid, 5FU etc. I did a brief search to see if this has been investigated however this does not seem to have been done or at least published. Its a good potential research project however!
40cc of volume difference with a BWD of 11.6cm leads to subtle projection changes. Have you used the sizing implant tools or Cristalix 3D camera imaging? These will be the best way to help decide. Trying on different clothes with these sizes and having friends and family will certainly help you in the decision process.
