The Best Thing I Ever Did

After researching breast augmentation I was overwhelmed with choices, from flying abroad or travelling to London, but with two young children I was looking for something closer to home. Dr Adam Sawyer was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad I had this experience with him and the amazing team at The Nuffield Bournemouth.

During the first consultation Dr Sawyer made me feel really comfortable and he listened to what I wanted, which was to bring back lost volume and to give me a bit of lift, I was given three size choices but after another sizing appointment with the nurse I went slightly bigger than my original plan, a 275cc over muscle.

Suddenly we were talking surgery dates and it all felt real! I felt nervous but so at ease and comfortable, I was told it could be a day case so I was hoping to get home the same day as I'm default parent and we also had a puppy.

On the day of the op, I checked in at 7am, the care I received was amazing from start to finish, the op itself was quick and executed incredibly professionally. I was nervous going down to theatre but everyone took great care of me. By 11ish the surgery was done and was woken up in the recovery room. I was so happy and calm in the hospital I opted to stay overnight, I was able to rest comfortably in my own suite with pain relief and endless tea, food and refreshments. Felt like a spa day! Adam came to see me at the end of his surgery day and checked, he was pleased, as was I!

My husband collected me the following morning at 10am. I am now 10 weeks post op, I've had no complications, everything was completly text book in terms of healing, my breast shape is better than ever and I've had my fist summer on the beach feeling absolutely amazing in my swimwear, thrown all the padding away out of bras and tops. It's made me feel so confident. I would recommend Dr Sawyer again and again.
