I had a breast lift with implants done by Dr. Lista at the plastic surgery clinic. Let me tell you I could not be happier with my decision so far .. I am only 5 days po but I am already so happy. I have always disliked looking at myself naked in the mirror because of my saggy boobs. This procedure has already immediately boosted my confidence. I'll start off by saying my entire experience with the plastic surgery clinic and Dr. Lista has been amazing. From consult to surgery day and my first postop appointment every single person in the clinic was amazing to deal with. So kind and made me feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Lista's expertise and experience made my decision to go with him as my surgeon very easy. At my consult I sat down with Dr. Lista and he inspected my breasts, he explained to me that I would need to have a lift in order to achieve what I wanted. He recommended 5 different implant sizes and I tried them all on and chose the size I liked best. On the day of surgery I was feeling very calm everyone was so friendly and they had me in my own private room with a heated blanket and tv as I waited to go into OR. The anesthesiologist was great. Best experience I've ever had being put under. I woke up and I was shocked that I was in no pain.. I was a little disoriented but no pain. That night I went back to my hotel with my caretaker and took it easy. Felt amazing for just having a lift with implants i couldn't believe that I had no pain. Updated on 2 May 2023: Will post more updates in the future! Updated on 5 May 2023: Just over one week post op
38 years old, 175cm tall 59kg, Breastfed two babies. I used to be 34B cup before breastfeeding but after breastfeeding both of my kids I ended up with a 34A (and it felt roomy) I chose dr Lista because of his well known subfascial method- where the implants are placed not below the muscle, not over, but tucked into the fascia of the muscle. This is great for thin patients like myself, and for those that like their workouts and push ups.. The staff has been amazing so far- very responsive and helpful. I am only 3 days post op and will provide more comments as the healing goes on. Updated on 30 Apr 2023: Day 5 post op Tummy bloating is the worst today. Feeling constipated and stool softeners are not helping. Will try heavier laxatives tonight. Pain at the incision lines is minimal today, i feel like it is almost gone today. Which is good, because all my meds are finishing today (never had to take pain killers, Tylenol was enough). I love how they look- I know they are swollen and need to drop, and I am excited to see how that looks like for me! Updated on 2 May 2023: Feeling much much better today. No pain when walking around, some discomfort when reaching above or when bending down to floor only. I had a virtual 7 day review with Nurse Lori, and she is pleased with how everything is healing. Tummy bloating finally getting better, but still some remains. This is another reminder for everyone to stock up on laxatives post op lol Updated on 6 May 2023: Feeling much better, almost no pain when walking or reaching above. Slight bloating still present but getting better every day with that too! My incision is getting itchy but I suppose that is normal and sign of healing process.
I have always wanted larger breasts, since puberty or even before lol and when I didn't get blessed with big boobs I thought maybe with motherhood? Fast forward to now, after breastfeeding my two kids and I ended up smaller than before. I couldn't fill my bras anymore, and just felt sad and envious of other people. I decided to book my BA and found Dr Lista through research. I looked up reviews, credentials, pictures etc and everything lined up with what I wanted, both professionally and asthetically. I booked my consult and my surgery a few weeks later. Today I had my procedure! I feel tired and sore, like I did 100 pushups but otherwise not too bad so far. Can't wait to see the final result! Updated on 28 Feb 2023: Feeling a little more sore today, but managing with Tylenol extra strength and trying to avoid narcotics. I didn't post my pics yesterday so here they are so far! I hady followup today with nurses Lori and Celine and they said I'm doing great and everything looks great! I have no bruising whatsoever so far. I will post more pics in future too! Updated on 1 Mar 2023: Feeling more like myself today! I can sit up easier and lift my arms better. Still being careful though, it doesn't feel normal yet. Still not taking narcotics, just Tylenol for pain. Pretty manageable, it's still a sore feeling more than anything else. My boobs feel very tight and swollen, I have a little bit of bruising now too. Also numbness in both breasts especially in the nipps. I have that crackling noise in the upper poles of both too, l which Lori says are common and will go away with time. My incisions are getting sensitive and I put some nonstick sterile gauze pads from Shoppers over the sterile tape to give them some extra protection from rubbing on the surg bra. Here are a few pic updates too! Updated on 9 Mar 2023: Feeling sooo much better than the last time I posted! To be honest I feel 99% back to normal, except with bigger boobs and some tummy bloat! I was allowed to sleep on my side a few days ago, at 7 days post op, and I think it somehow made the difference. The only discomfort I have is my incisions, because I think my boobs are starting to drop and I still have the steritape on. But the sensation of them dropping and my incisions is as if I'm wearing a tight bra with underwire, so it's not that bad. Still finishing up the arnica for bruising as you can tell. Starting massages next week and really looking forward to getting the steritape off! Updated on 11 Mar 2023: Here's some pics before I had kids. My size wasn't much different but I definitely had less volume esp in the upper part. ************************************************************************************************ ************************************************************************************************ ************************************************************************************************ Updated on 30 Mar 2023: Here's a one month update, just a little over a month actually! My right side is slower to drop than my left, I can tell because that incision sits a little more in the crease compared to the other. Plus my upper pole on the right side is higher. Otherwise feeling amazing! I love them so much, and they almost feel like they were always there. I've been massaging like crazy (10xday, 5 mins each time) but it honestly has helped so much. They are starting to move more naturally now, before they kind of just sat there lol. Also starting to lie down on my tummy, both sleeping and on a hard floor for 10 mins a day. Some aches at the incision as the skin stretches (I feel it happens when they are dropping a little). I have my check up in a week or so, then I get to wear the silicone strips to reduce scarring! I think they look pretty good as it is. Also some aerie bra pics! Size D32 in both, fits pretty good right now! I got sized as DD30 but that is not as common so D32 works too. Sooo happy I did this, I love that I can finally fill in shirts and bras!! Updated on 14 Apr 2023: Had my 1 month appt (more like 1.5months) postop appt with the surgeon yesterday. He says everything looks great! He asked if I had any concerns, but I don't have any. I still have slight numbness in my left nipple but that is normal and may be slower to come back. I'm so happy with the results!! It doesn't look top heavy or anything or super huge with regular clothes but they seem big once Im naked lol which is exactly what I wanted. I have silicone strips on my scars now to reduce scarring and Im supposed to lie on my front to continue to soften everything. My massaging is down to twice a day only now (phew). It honestly feels like I always had these! They feel so normal. They don't jiggle very much yet but I assume that will come with time too. Updated on 22 Sep 2023: Still loving these!! They jiggle and bounce around when I walk or jump, and feel completely natural. Here are some pics, although I am now preg (prob due to these lol) so I'm not sure if some swelling is due to that. I feel they haven't reached their full hang potential. My skin/tissues has always been tighter so it might take them a full yr to drop completely
Dr. Lista did my breast augmentation and I could not be happier with the result! He was very thorough and answered all my questions during the consultation. On the day of the surgery, all the staffs were so nice and Dr. Lista made sure I felt comfortable. His staff answered all questions I had during my recovery process and made sure I was recovering well. He is an amazing doctor and I love my new breasts.
2 days post-op and I’m already in love with my new breasts! Dr. Lista and his entire team at The Plastic Surgery Clinic in Mississauga made the entire experience wonderful for me and I’m 100% satisfied with my choice of breast implant size and already loving the results which will only continue to get better in the upcoming weeks and months. My entire life, I was always flat chested. Since being a teenager I have always dreamt of having breasts but never thought it was a reachable goal. I have four children and all were breastfed and yet I still remained very small chested. I am 5’10” and have a very slim body figure so going with a larger implant size made the most sense for me as it would remain proportional with my natural body size. I’m so happy with my choice and finally enjoy looking at my own reflection in the mirror without a bra or top on. It has already increased my self confidence immensely. Dr. Lista was a pleasure to work with and never made me doubt anything! I trusted him and his expertise and knew I was in the best of hands. His staff were amazing and so uplifting the minute you walked through the front door. I will always recommend this clinic and team of doctors and nurses to anyone who wishes to explore plastic surgery. 10/10. Updated on 8 Dec 2022: Here is another photo of my breasts before the augmentation surgery (blue heart stickers over nipples). I have no clue what my previous breast size was, I am assuming 34/36A. I had very little natural breast tissue and as you can see in the post-op photo beside it I am an entirely new person ha ha. I could not be happier and more thankful for this life changing experience. Updated on 18 Dec 2022: 2 weeks post-op and so many good results are trickling in! I’ve had barely any bruising and the incisions are healing so nicely. Swelling has subsided immensely and breasts are sitting more relaxed.
Oh my goodness!! This has been such a positive and amazing experience!! I’m 44 and wanted a breast reduction for some time! My doc had referred me to the “other guy” and I quickly did my own research and it didn’t take me long to settle whole heartedly on Dr. Lista! The guy is so talented. He is an artist!! I hated my breasts for so long and couldn’t imagine them looking any other way….but did he deliver!! THEY ARE SOO CUTEEE!!! I love my new boobies!!! I went from a 32DDD to about a C. Everything is super organized from the consultation, to each patient having their own coordinator, to surgery day! I was super nervous but when I got there but everyone was very comforting and friendly and made me feel very relaxed. I had my surgery on Oct 18 so I’m on day 9 of healing, which has been a breeze. I’m honestly very surprised by the lack of pain I feel. I had liposuction around the side boob area which is literally all the “pain” I feel. It feels like I did a tough workout. Totally manageable. Shoutout to Nurse Lori who has been wonderful!!! She answers me day or night, weekday or weekend if I have any concern. She is the absolute BEST!! I’ve posted a few progress photos and will be updating as I heal more. If you’re contemplating on doctors, search no more! Dr. Lista is your guy!! Updated on 18 Nov 2022: I’m in love with how I’m healing. This is my 4 week with scar strips on. Couldn’t be happier with my results! I’m in love with how I’m healing. Fantastic Dr! I had breast argumentation about 11yrs ago and my implants still look absolutely amazing! I get yearly ultrasounds and they’re still in great condition. I was a small B/large A cup and I want to a D cup, great size for my shoulder width. My incision was done through the skin crease line of the underarm. Extremely small scar which can’t even be seen. Healing was easy, normal bruising and swelling. No complications. I always recommend this Dr and have sent a few of my friends to him. He always produces amazing work! Fantastic Dr!
I had a great experience with Dr. Lista and the staff at the clinic for my gynecomastia surgery. I'm about 7 months post-op and the process from initial consult to now has been super smooth. I'm really happy with the results; I was fairly insecure with how my chest looked since childhood and the surgery/correction really resolved that for me. Would highly recommend!
I went to Dr.Lista for a breast revision/capsulectomy. My original breast implants from a previous doctor were nice while they lasted but the left mentor implant had recently ruptured and I wanted the piece of mind to have a capsulectomy to be sure any leakage was removed, as well as a fresh slate for my new implants. Dr.Lista and his colleague Dr.Ahmad worked together to give me the very best result, they also did a small amount of fat transfers to give an extra attractive result. I felt very safe and cared for by his entire staff. They took my questions and concerned seriously, followed up promptly, and I was always given the time I needed to feel comfortable during consultations. Nurse Lori was available to answer all of my post op questions. I felt very supported and am delighted with my results.
Hi all, I just wanted to share some information about my breast implants 8 years after the fact! I know when I was considering my procedure I was always wondering about how they would look over time. I've gained 30 lbs in the 8+ years since my breast implants were put in, and they still look amazing! They've always looked natural; though they no longer look 'oversized' so I may get a revision with a bigger size now that I'm a bigger person, not too sure. Here are the implant details: 457 Allergan Natrelle Transax Incision Under the Muscle I started off being 32C, post-op was 32F and now with my weight gain I am 34F/G. They still look amazing! I'm not sure if they still do this, but for my surgery they sent a limo to pick me up and drive me to the clinic in Mississauga, and the limo took me home. I had my bf at the time take care of me and that was much needed. The staff the entire time was amazing, I can't remember any drama or any complaints (and if something bad happened I would have remembered)! The aftercare was great, the 'boob massages' were hilarious and I think part of why my boobs still look amazing and really settled into place well. Dr Lista has a bit of an odd bedside manner, but remember he is not there to be your best friend, he's there to transform your body. His breast implants are literally the best I've seen. The only results that rival his seem to be from surgeons he has trained. To anyone considering surgery, good luck! Face the fear, you can do it :)
Hello, there are a few options one could explore for vaginal rejuvenation. If you're hoping to address "loose" skin, you may want to look into a labiaplasty which involves the excision of labial tissue and tightening of the labia. If you're looking strictly for tightening, there are surgical as well as non-surgical options available. Be advised that while non-surgical vaginal tightening can help with improving sensation during sex, it won't do much for appearance. I recommend consulting with a board-certified plastic surgeon to determine the most suitable treatment for you.
Hi, thank you for your question. Vaginal tightening involves creating small incisions to join loose vaginal muscles and shorten them, as well as tightening the vaginal opening through dissolvable sutures. This surgery is meant to improve sensation (and appearance) for patients who find that intercourse has been impacted by aging and/or childbirth. Ultimately, everyone will have a different experience post-surgery, and your best option is to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon to address your particular concerns.
Hi, thank you for your question. It takes up to a year before you can see the final results of your surgery, and recovery looks different for everyone. Following a vaginal repair, you should refrain from any vaginal insertion for 6 weeks, including intercourse and tampons. You should also avoid heavy lifting and exerting yourself too greatly as this may negatively affect your healing. I would recommend voicing your concerns to your surgeon to determine if there are additional precautions you need to take.
Thank you for your question. There are a host of vaginal procedures available to tighten the area for improved sexual sensation. Non-surgical vaginal tightening is a minimally invasive operation that involves injection and/or radio-frequency to promote collagen production and increased elasticity. You can explore your options further during a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon.
Hi, thank you for your question. Vaginal tightening involves creating small incisions to join loose vaginal muscles and shorten them, as well as tightening the vaginal opening through dissolvable sutures. If you're hoping to address excess skin ("saggy"-ness), you may want to explore a labiaplasty which involves the excision of labial tissue. In terms of skin lightening, that is not a procedure I offer at my practice, but you're more than welcome to come in for a consultation to discuss your concerns further.
