I was a bit hesitant at first, but i'm really glad I went through with the botox. The results are subtl yet effective, and I still look like myself, just well rested. Great experience overall. Thank you.
I love working with Dr. Klein because she is very experienced and answers all of the questions I have. I tried Botox first and now will try juveau to see which results I like more. Procedure done on my forehead and frown lines. As an incentive for posting a review, this reviewer received an entry into RealSelf’s monthly $500 gift card giveaway
I have been seeing Dr. Klein for over 20 years. She is extremely talented with Botox and fillers. She never over-fills you so you look like you’ve had work done. You look natural but better. She also removed a pre-cancer squamous cell from my cheek. I have no scar at all. I’d highly recommend her.
I've been coming to Dr. Klein for 18 years for Botox and filler. I have a significant scar on my lip from a facial dog bite that caused me to lose quite a bit of volume from my lip and it also makes my nasal labial folds asymmetrical and Dr. Klein has managed to correct a lot of that asymmetry with Botox and filler. Without it, my smile pulls more to one side than the other. Botox is half art and half science and she does it perfectly. I despise large, fake-looking lips and I'm a real snob about how my lips look and I was reluctant to using filler, but she uses a little bit strategically to obtain the symmetry and they don't look large or overdone. I enjoy her and her staff very much.
Dr Klein was awesome Extremely knowledgeable and skilled very personable really care for her patients, never rushed I have been going to her for botox and minor filler since 2012. I was going to my son's wedding. It was my first time and she made me feel comfortable. She took time to carefully customize my treatment to improve my look but not make me look like I had a bunch of botox that would make me look like my face was frozen.
I just love seeing Dr. Klein she makes me very calm when she’s doing her procedure she’s like an artist unbelievable I waited a long time to start doing some of the stuff and at almost age 70 she makes me look like I’m only 50! I am very happy with all of her team !
Dr. Klein has been helping me to look my best for over a decade...so long I can't remember the exact start date. Over the years she has injected botox, Juveau, restylane, various forms of juverderm including voluma and vollure, and recently RHA, a relatively new filter on the market. I attended a 4th of July party this year and reconnected with friends I had not seen in almost 2 years. I was amazed at how many people told me I looked good and. commented "I want what you're drinking...you look fantastic". I owe it all to Dr. Klein...she's the best..so much knowledge and experience. I wouldn't trust anyone else!
I have been a patient of Dr. Lorrie Klein for over 10 years and have never been disappointed with my procedures. Dr. Klein takes all of the stress you might be feeling and makes you feel at ease. She has a great eye for knowing what you need and never tries to sell you on procedures that are not necessary. Dr. Klein is an artist and truly cares about helping you to look your best. She is caring and compassionate about her work and makes the procedure 100% painless. Dr. Klein is an amazing Doctor that I would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a doctor who is an expert in her field.
I have been a patient of Dr. Lorrie Klein for decades and would not go to anyone else. Recently I received Juveau and RHA filler. Dr. Klein is extraordinary in her ability to visualize what I need and then artistically and creatively deliver that vision in a matter of minutes. As I am almost 75, that is not an easy order. Dr. Klein always works together with me to decide on the best treatments at the lowest cost for me. My husband and my mirror were delighted to see the undetectable, yet subtly profound changes in my appearance. And, added bonus, she is really nice!
My facial lines were fairly deep. My cheeks were sunken in. After a few injections, I look beautiful again. Dr. Klein filled out my cheeks and reduced the lines around my mouth. She did a wonderful job!
I recommend you see a board-certified dermatologist, facial plastic surgeon, oculoplastic surgeon or plastic surgeon. With all due respect to Dr. Trevisani, plastic surgeons are not the only physicians to do non- and minimally invasive procedures, in fact, most of them have their nurses do their injectable and laser treatments because they spend most of their time doing surgery. As a cosmetic dermatologist, I spend 99% of my time doing Jeuveau, Botox and fillers. You are probably too young for thread lifts to be useful but a consultation is needed to determine what is best for you. We recommend patients time their Jeuveau or Botox treatments first, then their laser and light-based devices, and lastly fillers.
Both Botox and Jeuveau are type A neuromodulators. They have the same molecular weight, same potential side effects, are injected exactly the same way and in the US studies worked equally well and lasted equally long. The European/Canadian studies actually showed Jeuveau to be 4-8% superior to Botox. I have seen it kick in sooner than Botox as well. The processing technology is different, with Botox being freeze dried and Jeuveau being vacuum dried, which might account for it’s superiority.
Jeuveau is a type A neuromodulator, just like Botox. It has the same molecular weight and has the exact same side effect profile. Potential side effects that we rarely see are: bruising, eyelid ptosis (droop) and eyebrow ptosis (droop), which are all temporary. While eyelid ptosis is the worst of these, it is not dangerous but does look bad. It has a 1% risk among all injectors but in our office we see it less than 1 per 1000 treatments.
Jeuveau is a type A neuromoduoator, like Botox, with an identical molecular weight to Botox. Dysport and Xeomin are also type A neuromodulators. Theoretically, if one didn’t work none of them would work. It is extremely rare for someone to get desensitized to any of these products, where they would stop working and usually only with frequent treatments using very high doses for medical uses. Also, if you were desensitized it would not work at all. If it seems to not be working as well it could be for one of the following reasons:1. You went to a new injector who is injecting you in a different pattern or with lower doses.2. You did not get Botox but instead a weaker product like Xeomin or Dysport.3. You are “recruiting” other parts of the muscles or surrounding muscles around the treated areas which are now moving because you can’t move the areas that were injected. This is your brain trying to find a work-around.If your injector is experienced and customizes your treatments he or she should be able to change your dose and/or injection sites to fix this problem, with either Botox or Jeuveau.
Jeuveau may be priced slightly less than Botox Cosmetic but it will be close in price in most offices since it is a premium product. In studies and in my experience, it works as well as Botox Cosmetic and possibly slightly better. Patients have already told me it is kicking in faster than Botox Cosmetic did for them.
