I absolutely love this doctor. She’s done a few CO2 lasers on me and I’m thrilled with the results. I never felt like she or her staff didn’t know exactly what they were doing, but they’re also super friendly. My skin looks incredible. She was gentler on the first laser so I asked her to go more aggressive so I got deeper results on my 2nd laser, and she delivered. So be very specific with her and she’ll be responsive.
Very impressed with the care she takes in giving her patients what they are looking for. She is extremely thorough when counseling her patients regarding the procedure they are considering. Her staff works well with you to give you the best experience you can get. Always follows up with her patient after a procedure. Felt I was in very good hands with her. One of the BEST in her field. Feel very fortunate to have found her.
I have only experienced top notch service from the entire practice, from the friendly and professional front desk to Dr Van Dyke. They made me feel very comfortable every step of the way. I had Cellfina done and LOVE my results, it really does work!
I can not say enough good things about Dr. Van Dyke, her staff and the miraDry treatment I received. I was very nervous before my treatment, but Dr. Van Dyke is extremely knowledge and makes you feel very comfortable during the entire procedure as she explains what she is doing. She is very honest and sets realistic expectations, she will go out of her way to help you meet your needs. The staff even called me a few days later to check up on me to see how I was feeling. MiraDry changed my life I could not be happier with the results, it has increased my confidence and given me a sense of freedom. I was able to enjoy my wedding on a very hot day in Cabo Mexico without a worry in the world. I am so grateful that I found Van Dyke Aesthetics and look forward to returning!
I have been struggling with acne for some time, and I have been working with Kelly to help manage it. She recommended the clear & brilliant treatment. Kelly is really knowledgeable and was able to answer all of my questions, she was very thorough! I was sort of anxious because I thought that it would hurt way more than it did. She talked to me through the whole thing, and just like she said, it felt a little tingly, but that was about all. I was totally comfortable with the whole treatment!
I am 56 years old and have been getting cosmetic injections for over 15 years. For the past 4 years I have been going to Van Dyke and am extremely happy. These days every spa and doctors office thinks they are qualified to do injections. Before finding Van Dyke, I had more than one bad experience and can tell you that you certainly should do your research before letting anyone touch your face or body. Education and experience should be the barometer for choosing a practitioner, not who is doing it for the least cost or who is offering a Groupon. Van Dyke is by far, the best place for any type of cosmetic treatments. The office staff is friendly and efficient, while Tiffanie and Jamie are excellent with botox, fillers and Coolsculpting. Tiffanie takes her time explaining all options and answering any questions. She is conservative and I have always had great results. This office has a relaxed and professional atmosphere and I highly recommend them.
OK, I am a guy and yes I am completing a review for Aesthetics. I feel that when a organization outshines even my own expectations, that business needs to be recognized for its accomplishments. I have used Van Dyke's for three years now and each visit I am treated like family. No, not yelling at each other type family, but a caring and respectful family. From the receptionist to the P.A's and Dr. Van Dyke herself have been great. They explain everything about what they will be doing (and not in a condescending way) which has made me feel more at ease with the procedures. They have even told me I did not need a follow up, saving me a lot of cash, and rescheduled an appointment latter in the year. This high lighted that they do care about their customers, not just making a buck! Anyway, I can go on for ever about how professional Van Dyke's business is but hey, try it out for yourselves. I promise you will not be disappointed. Oh, and yes, my wife goes there and loves it just as much as I do. Matt and Kathryn
I am not a person who typically writes reviews but Van Dyke Asthetics deserves 5 stars. Professional, courteous and informative. The entire team at Van Dyke Aesthetics are truly the best in the Valley. Tiffany the Nurse Practitioner is the most gentle and knowledgeable injector I have been to. She has treated me with Botox and filler numerous times. She has done a beautiful job with filler in my cheeks, around my nose and mouth and my eye troughs. She is always very gracious and asks what I am trying to achieve. She is very knowledgeable and artistic she will suggest things that she sees that I may want to consider. In fact last time she injected my eyes I was amazed at the results. She is conservative which I appreciate as I would rather go back than be over corrected and leave looking "NOT MYSELF". I always leave a more youthful version of me and very happy. I am a person that bruises easily and she "knock on wood" has not bruised me but I understand that can happen easily as it is a needle. I'm also very terrified of needles but she is very comforting and careful which makes for a very good experience. I can't say enough how impressed and overly satisfied I have been with Tiffany and the entire staff. I have referred Tiffany to many of my friends and they are all as happy as I am. Tiffany has also done Fraxel on my face and the results were amazing. The texture and tone of my skin is better now than it was 10 years ago. I highly recommend Tiffany and Dr. VanDyke and the entire staff. Top Notch.
I had several Clear & Brilliant treatments with Kelly Cloud-Certified Laser Technician! She is awesome! She was wonderful in explaining the procedure and very patient with all my questions. The entire staff is so friendly and kind! I recommend going to any of their Open Houses to find out more information.
I have had a few sessions with Kelly (laser technician) and she is amazing! She always makes me feel welcome, comfortable, and most importantly safe. She is very easy to talk to about concerns or questions also while still being very professional. I am so thankful that I chose Van Dyke for my skin care needs!
I treat dimpling and "orange peel" appearance of chin quite frequently with Botox and it works very well. Too much Botox in that area can have the undesired result of a crooked smile or inability to pull the lower lip down when speaking or eating. Because you can always add (but cannot take away) Botox, I like to start out conservatively. Usually, 2 injections (one to the left side, one to the right side of the mid chin area) of 2 to 4 units each is effective (total of 8 or fewer units). If that is not enough then additional units can be added 2 weeks after the first treatment to get the perfect result!
I use the Nectar alot before and after my laser resurfacing procedures to aid in healing and in improving results. Some people love it so much that they continue to use it to continue to reduce ongoing sundamage and build collagen and elastin. Alastin makes C-Radical Defense Antioxidant Serum for powerful antioxidant power to protect from free radicals formed by sun, pollution and stress (among other assaults on the skin). C-Radical Defense is compatable with Nectar and they can be used together. The Serum would go on first, then the Nectar. If this is in the context of post procedural then I do not advise using the anitoxidant until completely healed. Nectar alone is appropriate until skin is normal, then the antioxidant can be added.
Everybody responds to pain differently. I have patients who sleep through their procedures while others are truly in pain! With Fraxel I like to apply topical numbing cream for about 60 minutes before the procedure. We also offer Pronox (laughing gas) to help with the stress that can come with any procedure. The nice thing about Pronox is that it works very quickly and wears off just as quickly allowing you to drive yourself after about 15 minutes. For particularly sensitive patients I can prescribe a combination of a pain pill and anti anxiety pill to be taken at the time of the Fraxel. In this case you must have a driver. No pain medications are needed after the Fraxel. Bottom line is that as a physician I can offer a variety of ways to make you comfortable.
Skin laxity happens as we age, of course. It often shows up first in the neck due to sun exposure and the mobility of the neck. The key to improving lax skin is stimulating collagen and there are numerous ways to do that. The basic start is skin care. SkinMedica, SkinBetter, Skinceuticals (and other physician brands) all offer great neck creams. Non invasive skin tightening is the next approach (in addition to skin care). As the name suggests, it has no downtime and results are subtle and gradual and last for over a year. Increase in collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid all result in improvement in skin tone and texture. More invasive are the biostimulants like Sculptra and Radiesse, these are injected under the skin in dilute form to stimulate the body's natural tissues resulting in a more youthful neck. Enhancing jawline with fillers like Volux certainly do improve the overall neck contour. Bottom line, there are choices and combinations of treatments are optimal. The best approach is consult with a board certified cosmetic derm who can examine you, get to know your needs and design a plan that is right for you.
I absolutely love Clear and Brilliant for melasma. I generally recommend monthly treatments with the addition of 4 % hydroquinone topically. If the skin is inflamed or irritated, it is best to calm that down first. I see very irritated skin when patients are over treated with strong topicals like 8% hydroquinone, especially when combined with retinoids and exfoliants. The key to treating melasma is to be gentle, with treatments and with topical skin care. Multiple treatments are needed and then maintenance maybe every 3 months or so. There is no real cure for melasma, but it can be managed. It is crucial to avoid sun (SPF 50 or greater and hats, help). Other things that aggravate melasma are heat and irritating skin creams. You may have some redness with your melasma and addressing that as well will also help.
