I had a Vagilangelo procedure done with Dr Ghozland and I couldn't be happier! I have been thinking about getting a vaginoplasty done but I want 1 more baby so Dr Ghozland recommended the vagilangelo procedure. He said it would help create more friction and help if I had any laxity and he was right! The procedure it's self was painless! Dr Ghozland is amazing and I couldn't be happier. Thank you Dr Ghozland!
Hello ladies, I today I finally got my Vaginoplasty surgery. It has been something that I've been wanting to get for many years after having 2 children. Doctor Ghozland and his team made me feel welcomed and comfortable. From my consultation to surgery day the communication was always great. For the first 2-3 hours after surgery was probably the most discomfort I've felt. There's was so much pressure in my rectal area but once the medications kicked in, I was able to sleep it off. Once I woke up, I felt much more better, less wobbly and I was able to get up myself to use the restroom or grab a small bite from my kitchen. There's not actual pain but discomfort of feeling constipated. Im looking forward to see my final results. Day one. Updated on 31 Aug 2023: Day 2 of my recovery. I’m surprised on how quickly I’m recovering. The feeling of constipation went from a 10 to a 6. The pressure went down and I feel more comfortable. The medication that they provide helps! I was also able to use #2 today. I feel like that’s what I was most worried about when contemplating on the surgery. Taking stool softeners a day before surgery and after surgery helped a lot! I’m looking forward on seeing how I feel tomorrow. Day 2. Updated on 1 Sep 2023: It gets better! Each day that passes I feel more and more like myself again. I’m still currently taking my pain medications. I’ve only been taking the ibuprofen that they provided I feel like that’s all I really needed to get through the day however everyone’s pain tolerance is different. Today, I was able to take a shower without assistance. My pressure level from behind from a 1-10 is probably a 5 however this pressure is only felt when I get up or walk around. If I’m laying down I don’t feel like pressure as long as I stay in the same position. I’ve tried walking around my home today just to start getting my body used to some daily movements. I was able to do light chore work too. I was able to sit comfortably on a chair with a BBL pillow for about 20 minutes so that’s great! I can’t wait to see how much I recover overnight tomorrow morning! Im hoping to be able to sit for more that 20 minutes by day 5. Day 3. Updated on 2 Sep 2023: I’m starting to feel like myself each day that passes. Today I was able to sit on my bed for the first time for a few hours watching television. Im still cleaning myself with a squirt bottle after using the restroom and im continuing to take my stool softeners. I have no issues sleeping, I can pretty much sleep in any position I feel comfortable. The pressure that I feel in my behind 1-10 is a 4. The pressure is only felt when I get up, that is when it starts to feel a bit heavy. I’m excited to get through this recovery! It’s not as bad as I thought it was :). Day 4.
Hello to my ladies ready for a New start, I’m still recovering 3 weeks and counting, can’t wait to see & feel my result coming from a Revision Vaginoplasty yup, you heard it this is my 2nd procedure. Reason was because I didn’t know what was the difference of traditional method and modern method Vaginoplasty. This was my biggest concern was I couldn’t grip (IYKWIM)- if you know what I mean. Everything was good until I noticed that difference.I still felt wide I was definitely devastated because of my expectations towards a “ Vaginal rejuvenation “ I couldn’t just accept that this was going to be the way I have to live, I knew there was a better outcome and I came across the Ineffable Dr. Ghozland, I flew from NY To CA and I was very pleased he answered all my concern and I’m pretty sure he delivered my request. I’am 3 wks post opt recovering nicely got a long way to go but, with updates can’t wait to get to the juicy part too. Updated on 30 Jun 2023: All I can say is Dr. Ghozland exceeded my expectations, look no further plz this is what you call A Five star rating .Oh’ and my husband can’t stop praising it literally all he say’s is “Thank you” & “ I loves it” . Did I say more now may name is MS.Gripper. Thank you you made a significant impact on my life. Dr. Ghozland knew what I wanted and went beyond I ever imagined, Thank you, Thank You !
Going to Dr. Ghozland was definitely one of the best decisions I made after having kids. After having kids, sex was no longer enjoyable and always avoided it with my husband. I then came across someone who spoke about vaginoplasty and how much it helped her sex life feel like it was before she had kids. I then started looking more into the procedure. I'm from NYC and had difficulties finding a doctor. I read about Dr. Ghozland here in RealSelf and a YouTuber posted about her experience with him. Although he was so far from me I decided to fly to him. My experience was wonderful, Dr.Ghozland and his staff were amazing. Although my recovery was a bit painful my outcome was definitely worth it! I feel a lot more confident!
I heard about a labia puff a few years ago and was always interested.. I mean if I spend time and money getting Botox and fillers on my face why wouldn’t I give my lady parts the same attention? I am 40 years old and have 3 grown kids. I’ve been with my husband for 22 years, not really any complaints about sex… lack of desire but I think that can mainly be caused by raising a teenager, work and just regular life. Anyways beside experimenting with viagra (him) and me lots of kegals and my secret weapon the china shrink cream ( hella embarrassing) I was suckered into buying and trying it after coming across a review and well yes it works to the point where sometimes it’s hard to even penetrate. I did readin up on it and didn’t find health concerns with it but deep in my gut I was starting to get scared of prolong using it… and then I started to not want to have sex with out it because I became paranoid that I wasn’t tight enough…so I was like I have to find another option to spice things up so I looked back into labia puffing and made a appointment with dr David ghozland .. it took a couple weeks to be seen but once I was things went much faster. The office is nice and clean and the staff was friendly. The dr seemed busy but still answered all my questions and even suggested to me a perineoplasty to tighten my entrance to my vagina, I decided to do both procedures and scheduled for may 6… which is 2 weeks away. I only told my husband I was getting a labia puff which he replied Im crazy and why do I do stuff like this lol I didn’t dare tell him the rest or Im sure he would stop me… or would he lol?? I put a $500 deposit and was called by a pharmacy to pay for a prescription that will be added to a post op care bag after surgery. I was qouted like 7600 …. I lied to my husband and said I was only paying 3000 for it … it’s my money I saved up anyways so I don’t feel like I have to tell him the exact price unless he is offering to pay for it. I also bought stool softeners, arnica tablets, pads, thigh braces, perni water bottle to clean myself properly, dial anti bacterial soap and flushable wipes. I am nervous about everything, I been researching and went to YouTube where I saw the procedure being performed. The labia puff they will be liposuction my inner thighs for fat to transfer to my outter labia, I hope that the liposuction is performed good and doesn’t leave dents on my inner thigh. That is worrisome. I don’t think much fat is needed for such a small area, so hopefully everything goes good. Now the perneoplasty looks much more intrusive!!! I will be cut and muscles will be repaired and I will be sown back up to a PREPREGNANCY state!!! That’s kinda refreshing for someone who just turned 40 ;) I will have stitches… it takes 8 weeks to recover. Im currently waiting to receive pre op and surgery day instructions, I’m 15 days away from surgery, if I don’t hear from the cordinators I will email or call them, kinda nerve wrecking! Anyways So here’s to this new journey~ I’ll post before pictures closer to my procedure. Updated on 5 May 2022: So I have my procedure scheduled for 9am, I have to be there by 8:30. I live in San Diego about 2 hours away from the dr. So we rented a room in LA about 20 minutes away that way I don’t have to battle Friday morning LA traffic… so that’s nice. I told my husband about the whole procedure he is so nervous for me. I am too but more excited now. I’m scared of feeling pain during procedure because I will be awake. Just numbed and sedated. I was told to bring comfortable clothing so I opted for baggy sweatpants and a comfy long sleeve with warm socks… in the morning I will shower with dial antibacterial soap and shave everything. I can’t believe it’s almost time, I been counting down the days and it’s finally here. I will be documenting my experience… I don’t see many reviews on this and I don’t know of one person personally that has done this so it’s pretty new to me, hopefully my review will help others. Updated on 6 May 2022: I got to Dr.Ghozlands at 8:45. I paid for surgery and signed paper work, my husband waited in the car. Before I went back to surgery the receptionist came and informed me that I had over paid, and gave me money back…I wouldn’t of even snapped. So I appreciated her honesty. A few minutes later I was called back to a room and undressed from the bottom down and got up on the table. Dr ghozland came in he’s a cool dr and put me at ease and told me he was going to get started on the numbing, I tried to act tough but I won’t lie it hurt, it was the most uncomfortable part. Getting shots in you vagina and butthole area is no fun.. and shots to the thighs hurt like a bitch too. I started to have a bit of anxiety and the drs main assistant noticed and comforted me with a Xanax. Thank god. then the numbing kicked in and I was ok. The dr and 2 assistants helping him they were awesome and kept me distracted with there side talk, I also put on breaking bad in the tv in the room for as much distraction as possible. Then the dr started my perineoplasty which I didn’t feel at all, I was most scared of that so I was relieved that I didn’t feel it . I smelt a lot of burning flesh from the laser, it smelt like burnt hair. The dr. Also fixed one of my labia that was a little longer than the other so that was really cool of him to do. Again the shots hurts, I got a few more in my labia before he fixed it and they hurt. Then everything went even more numb. Next was my lipo and labia puff… now I dunno if my thigh anesthesia had started to wear of already but I kinda felt sharp stinging pain in certain areas, along with pressure but the pressure is normal, when he injected the fat into my labia it was very uncomfortable feeling. I was so relieved and proud of myself once it was all done. if I could go back I would have done this under General anesthesia. But then the dr showed me my results and let’s just say I am so impressed and excited about the outcome. Yea it hurts but sooo worth it. After everything was finished Erica (the main assistant) went over post op and give me a bag full of surgery supplies and went over my medicine. She was so helpful and made me feel so comfortable during such a scary time for me. I appreciate that. She said she call and check on me monday. So now here is part 2 of surgery.. the recovery! It’s up to me so I can have optimal results . Right now I’m laying with a pad on. My lipo incisions are weeping I put on bandaids I’m wearing a long shirt in bed with a towel under me in case I bleed. I’m not bleeding from my vagina much. I took antibiotics and a pain pill. Going to rest now. Updated on 7 May 2022: So I had a hard time getting comfortable last night, I was in pain because all the numbing had worn off I felt like a burning sensation, it was manageable with the pain meds… I took a warm shower with antibacterial soap put on long shirt and wore a pad, put fresh band aids on thigh stitches.. I am not bleeding much at all! Like barely…And not bruised much… I eat lots of pineapple and took arnica pills days before my procedure, I believe that helps a lot. I don’t want to compromise the fat graft so I’ve been trying to keep my legs apart and with no pressure on my crotch. Lucky I’m a house wife with a supportive husband that is handling everything household and more so I can relax and heal.. I’m just laying back watching tv, chilling. I woke up this morning real swollen but it has gone down by afternoon. I don’t think I will need to continue the hydrocodone the pain has significantly gone down, I just feel sore now. Plus I don’t want to get constipated, I felt urge to use #2 but felt to scared to push, so Im naturally holding back, so I took stool softeners and am drinking juice and water, hopefully things go smooth..that will be the next milestone. Anyways I’m feeling pretty good and happy with my decisions, I believe I was in the best hands possible and that he did a great job. My lipo area on my thighs doesn’t look too bad neither, it looks a lil uneven because I’m more swollen in areas than others, but I’m probably the only one who can notice. I put on thigh wraps for compression and will wear them from this point on for a month so my skin reattach smoothly … I’m basically using my past bbl knowledge when it comes to this small lipo and labia puff . I can’t see my stitches or anything from the perineoplasty because I’m swollen plus I don’t really want to look and touch or mess around with anything. Keep it as germ free as possible. Updated on 8 May 2022: I slept better and feel ok. My swelling isn’t too bad & I barley bruised. Not really bleeding, a very light pink spotting, and not much at all. I feel a slight burning sensation where the dr evened out my labia, everything else is fine. I’m just taking it easy. I am so happy with my results so far. Totally worth it. Even though I’m swollen, my vagina looks completely different! She looks so pretty & rejuvenated. My husband loves how I look too, he mentioned how he “can’t wait to get into that” lol he has a long 8 weeks to go poor guy ;) I took 3 stool softeners yesterday and they kicked in today, I was able to use the bathroom without to much problem, so I’m glad that happened. I’m drinking lots of teas and water and started my multi vitamin. I’m only taking ibuprofen at this point. The pain isn’t bad. I have thigh wraps on, my lipo areas look fine, just sore like I did a crazy work out. I was worried about irregularities but I can say all is good. Dr Ghozland really impressed me with his skills, he is amazing at what he does. I’m feeling beautiful and confident . Happy Mother’s Day to me! From me! Investing in yourself is a amazing feeling. I’ll update in a few days. Updated on 11 May 2022: Hi so I think I’m healing ok so far, I’m more swollen on my right side than the other because I had a labiaplasty on one side to even out my lips. It stings a bit when I pee , I’m using a pernibottle to squirt cool water to keep clean. I can’t shave or anything for 6 weeks so im getting pretty hairy which I don’t like at all, makes me itchy…but the rules are the rules. I can see my perineoplasty stitches and they look fine, the only discomfort I have there is when it comes to coughing, laughing or using #2. Im just continuing my stool softeners. I take a ibuprofen 800 before bed. Other than that I’m trying not to take them to avoid constipation. Im trying to stay in good spirits to help the healing process, trying not to look to much at my Coochie right now because the extra swelling on one side makes me feel scared that I’m losing fat on one side but logically I know the swelling difference is because of the labiaplasty. I just really want to keep as much fat as possible, it’s unpredictable how much will stay and where you lose it from so it is a bit nerve wrecking. I was told I could lose up to 30%. I just hope everything heals evenly. I guess I can always do another labia puff if I need, but hopefully I won’t have to. I’m still extremely happy with my choices. Surgery can be draining emotionally I’ve been through it enough to know better, so I will just relax and heal and check back in next week unless anything changes. Updated on 27 May 2022: So around 10 days post op my right labia started to swell it became more painful than it had been, so I went to see the dr on Tuesday and was told everything looked fine, that the swelling was normal for what I been thru… but the swelling continued so 2 days later I emailed with my concerns about the swelling increasing along with redness and that it was very painful on Thursday evening… nobody got back to me , I figured they were busy cause it was Friday and didn’t want to bug since I had just been there a few days prior… (always listen to your gut , I felt something was wrong) so I went thru the weekend in pain and swoll up so crazy and developed a lump/boil, Monday morning I called the dr office first thing and told them something was wrong, they saw me right away, I was told I had a infection, the dr prescribed me antibiotics and recommended a sitz bath and scheduled me for another appointment Friday… I started antibiotics immediately & I took the sitz bath that evening and the lump which was near the suture on my right labia burst and blood and fat leaked out for the next 3 days :( it was painful and scary, but the swelling, redness and pain went down… unfortunately at the moment I’m looking a little bit asymmetrical, I just went to my dr appointment (it’s Friday today) and the dr said I was looking much better and told me to come back in 2 weeks, prescribed my yeast infection medicine just in case since I’m taking 2000mg of antibiotics a day (antibotics sometimes cause yeast infection) I have a few days left of that. I feel as though I might need a revision on the right side since the fat leaked out… after doing google & youtube researching I feel like I went thru superficial fat necrosis, the dr didn’t say that so maybe infection is the same thing? So I will wait it out and see but I’m pretty sure I will need a revision. I do yoga and if it’s noticeable in my yoga pants I will have to fix it. I don’t want uneven labia majora. So far the dr and the staff have been compassionate and cool about the complication. The Dr said hed be keeping a close eye on me, and reassured me I’ll be ok, which makes me feel more secure…I sure hope everything will turn out ok. I’ve documented this process and will share pictures. I know complications occur sometimes, I’m still happy that I got this done I just hope when all settles I still feel this way and that I’m satisfied with my results… I’ll be posting another update soon! Updated on 11 Jun 2022: So after what seemed forever 2 weeks passed and each day the asymmetry on my labia was more noticeable and I felt so depressed and anxious, It was finally time for my follow up appointment and I was nervous, I told the dr I was feeling depressed and he smiled warmly responded calmly “well let’s fix that” which immediately made me feel a sense of relief, like he cared, he took a look at me and went over my options, of course I choose to do another labia puff, and then to my surprise the Dr told me he could fix it the next day if I had time.. my stress melted away then because I knew that Dr Ghozland had my best interest in mind and that everything was going to be ok. He scheduled me and sent my prescriptions to the pharmacy and I went home to get prepared for the following day. I had the revision and things went smoothly, it didn’t hurt as bad this time around, I took Xanax and just tried to close my eyes and relax. It took about a hour, and so far my results look beautiful. I am so grateful for the timely manner everything was handled, I was nervous that I was going to be self conscious and embarrassed all summer (swim suit season! ) because of asymmetric labia majora.. but everything ended up all good. I highly recommend Dr. Ghozland and his staff. Everyone was amazing and I felt taken care of. Today I woke up and I’m not too swollen just a little sore on my inner thighs from the lipo. I’m on antibotics and I have hydrocodone for pain. I didn’t bruise much. I’m just taking it easy for the next 2 weeks. I’m feeling a sense of relief and I’m so glad despite any complications I had That I have no regrets and chose the Dr I did. I will update with pictures soon.
I had a great experience with Dr Ghozland and his staff. They were all nice and welcoming. I was terrified to have this procedure done but they made me feel comfortable. The procedure was quick, I was able to go home the next day my pain level after was a 8 now its 4 im 3 days post opp. Only taking ibuprofen and arnica. Going to update as I go. Updated on 4 Apr 2022: Day 5 n ive completely stopped taking pain meds only using the numbing spray n arnica here n there. I finally looked at it n its so pretty. Ive also noticed Im only urinating once or twice at night instead of 5 times. Im so grateful.
Hands down the best Dr. with the best bedside manners I've ever met. I'm in the medical field myself so I really appreciate how Dr. Ghozland differs from so many providers in that you never feel rushed, he answers all your questions, he's pleasant and has a great sense of humor. Also, the treatment I went for was the FemiLift which has helped me tremendously with my urinary stress incontinence. I'm literally cured!!
When prepping for my procedure, I spent a lot of time searching for reviews from women who had gone through the procedure and I found very few. Most of what I came across were male doctors saying how easy and painless the recovery would be. Well ladies, they lied. And I don't necessarily think it's intentional, they just can never experience pain in that area because they don't have vagina's, labia or perineum's. I am 9 days into my recovery now and it has been a lot harder than I anticipated. Days 1-2 are rough as expected. I felt like I had been kicked in the crotch by a combat boot repeatedly. Day 3, I woke up with so much pain I was on my bathroom floor fetal position having a full blow panic attack. I had stopped the Vicodin the night before, so I will attribute the pain to stopping the hard stuff too soon. It was constipating me, I was worried about my first BM and I had read so many doctors say that many women managed post-op pain with OTC meds. They were wrong. S o back on the round the clock Vicodin and 800 mg Motrin I went. Updated on 27 Mar 2021: By Day 5, a lot of the swelling was subsiding in the upper region. However, I noticed that all of it was accumulating in the middle section. Must be that when I stood up, all of the fluid pools in one spot concentrated spot and boy is that painful! After standing for 5-10 minutes, I'm usually keeled over in distress at the end. I find that as long as I lay down, I feel great. Except, this is extremely impractical, especially almost a week in. Another huge issue I was not anticipating was the irritation and burning. For the days 5-present I have had a terrible internal burning sensation and chafing like feeling. It is miserable ladies. I have resorted to diaper creams to keep the area feeling dry. I was hoping to be able to resume working from home after the first work and then go back to the office at 14 days. Realistically, sitting up in a chair is torture right now. It puts a lot of strain on the incisions and causes more irritation. I'm cautiously optimistic that in the next 6 days things miraculously improve so that I am able to comfortably sit on my donut for 8 hours a day.
Let me say that I was absolutely terrified of having this procedure done and researched doctors for literally years. Reaching out here and there. The best decision I’ve ever made was to get my procedure with Dr Ghozland. The moment you call the office you are more comfortable. He’s so kind and comforting and did an AMAZING job. I didn’t even expect my results to be so perfect. I wish I hadn’t waited so long!!! I felt no pain and watched The Office during my procedure! I’m totally healed now and just feel like a new, more confident person. The It’s SO worth it and then some!
The O-Shot involves injecting PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) near the urethral sponge and anterior vaginal wall. This stimulates collagen production, blood flow, and tissue regeneration, which can help: Strengthen the urethral support structures Improve tissue tone around the bladder neck Reduce urine leakage during physical activity, coughing, or sneezing What Type of Incontinence It Helps: The O-Shot is most effective for mild to moderate stress incontinence—not urge incontinence (which is more bladder-spasm related). If you leak with movement, exercise, or laughter, this may be a good option. Results: Some women notice improvement in a few days to weeks Others may require a second treatment for optimal results Improvement can last 6–12 months or longer, depending on the individual We often combine the O-Shot with non-surgical vaginal tightening devices (like ThermiVa or Votiva) for enhanced results when treating incontinence.
Great question—and it's important to know what to expect before undergoing any procedure. The O-Shot® (Orgasm Shot) is generally very safe and well-tolerated, especially because it uses your own blood-derived PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma). That said, here are a few potential side effects or things to be aware of: Common (and typically mild) side effects: Temporary swelling or mild soreness at the injection sites (usually resolves within 24–48 hours) Mild spotting or discharge Increased sensitivity (some patients notice heightened arousal for a few days) Rare but possible: Bruising (especially if you're prone to bruising or take blood-thinning medications) Temporary urinary urgency or frequency Localized itching or tingling sensation Extremely rare: Infection (very low risk due to sterile technique) Allergic reaction – since it’s your own PRP, this is virtually nonexistent What you won’t experience: No downtime – most patients resume daily activities the same day No general anesthesia or surgery – it’s a quick, in-office treatment under local numbing
Yes, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) can be a very effective tool for improving the healing, texture, and sensitivity of scar tissue—especially in delicate areas like the labia and vaginal opening. In your case, using PRP around labia or perineal scar tissue can help: Soften and remodel the scar, making it smoother to the touch Improve tissue pliability and hydration Stimulate collagen and blood flow, which can reduce irritation or that “scratching” sensation during intimacy We’ve had great success incorporating PRP into post-labiaplasty recovery and even years later in cases where patients are experiencing discomfort or aesthetic concerns from old scars. In some cases, we also combine PRP with topical peptides or fractional laser therapy to enhance results and promote optimal tissue regeneration. I’d be happy to take a closer look and let you know if PRP—or a combination approach—would be right for you. Warmly, Dr. David Ghozland Cosmetic Gynecologist & Intimate Wellness Expert
This is an excellent and very valid question. The O-Shot® is a technique-based procedure, and while the overall process is standardized—drawing your blood, preparing the PRP, and injecting it into the clitoral and G-spot areas—the experience and precision of the provider absolutely matter. Here’s why: Proper placement is key to effectiveness. Injecting into the correct anatomical zones with the right depth and angle ensures that the PRP stimulates the target tissues (nerves, blood vessels, and collagen). An experienced provider can tailor the treatment based on your unique anatomy and specific concerns (e.g., sensitivity, dryness, or incontinence). Providers who’ve done hundreds of procedures often refine their technique to maximize comfort, minimize risk, and improve outcomes. In my own practice, we've seen stronger and more consistent results over the years as we’ve honed our method. So yes—while the procedure steps are similar across offices, the skill, understanding of intimate anatomy, and precision of the injector can absolutely influence how effective your results are. If you’re considering the O-Shot, it’s not just about who offers it—it’s about who masters it. Warmly, Dr. David Ghozland Cosmetic Gynecologist & Sexual Wellness Specialist
Thanks for your question—and I completely understand the concern. It’s not common, but occasionally after an O-Shot, patients may notice a small, firm area at the site of the injection, especially in the G-spot region. This is usually due to a localized collection of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) or mild tissue swelling as part of the body’s healing response. The good news is that this is typically temporary and resolves on its own within a few weeks as the PRP is absorbed and the tissue remodeling process continues. If the area is: Painful Increasing in size Red or warm to the touch …then it should be evaluated, as these symptoms may suggest an infection or other rare complication. But in most cases, a firm bump after the O-Shot is benign and self-limiting. We always encourage patients to reach out if they experience anything unusual so we can guide them properly. Feel free to share this with your friend—and we’re happy to provide a professional opinion if she’d like to be seen. Warmly, Dr. David Ghozland
