I couldn't be happier with the results from my personalized skin resurfacing treatment at Novel U Wellness in Long Beach, CA! Dr. Shahnoos (as we, her patients, call her) is incredibly kind, patient, knowledgeable and has a true artistic eye when it comes to facial aesthetics! Her expertise and genuine care for her patients really shines through! undergone several treatments Dr. Shahnoos has recommended, including laser treatments, dermal fillers, Agnes RF and Scarlet SRF microneedling. For this review, I want to focus on my recent NouvaDerm skin tightening and resurfacing treatment on my lower face, jawline, and neck. Dr. Shahnoos created this personalized treatment plan and designed it specifically for my skin's needs. She took her time explaining how the NouvaDerm Laser skin resurfacing would work, what to expect during the treatment, and gave detailed aftercare instructions. Her patience and thoroughness as she answered all my questions and concerns made me feel completely confident and ready for my appointment! The pain level was quite tolerable thanks to the numbing cream applied before the procedures. The actual treatment took less than 20 minutes! I was happily surprised by how quick and efficient the process was! Following Dr. Shahnoos' instructions, I avoided sun exposure when possible and wore sunscreen religiously for the following weeks. Immediately after treatment my skin looked somewhat sunburned with a redness that was hardly noticeable after about eight days (see the video I posted with this review). At two weeks post treatment, I noticed the skin tightening Dr. Shahnoos promised would happen. Now, going on three weeks post treatment, I'm still seeing continued improvements!
