I had transplant surgery three weeks ago with Dr. Anderson at the Alpharetta location. The consultation was a great experience. It was very educational. Matt and Dr. Anderson explained in detail how the surgery worked and answered all of my questions. They shared before and after pictures of other patients and took pictures of my hair so I could better see the exact areas they would be working on. At the end, Dr. Anderson gave me his cell number and told me to reach out with any questions. Prior to the surgery, I reached out to Matt and Dr. Anderson with questions and they were both very responsive and patient with me. The day of the procedure was better than expected. Dr. Anderson and his whole team are very friendly and professional. The procedure takes several hours and I have chronic back pain so I had some concerns about that. Dr. Anderson had assured me that the sedation techniques they use would keep me comfortable and he was absolutely right. I not only felt virtually no discomfort from the procedure itself, I actually fell asleep several times and was quite comfortable the entire time. Dr. Anderson checked my comfort level several times throughout the day to make sure of that. Also, the techs who help him were great. They give you very detailed post-op instructions and, in addition, are great at answering questions. I reached out a few times with questions and always was able to speak to someone. I also texted Dr. Anderson a few times and he was very responsive and caring. While it will take some time to get the full results, based on my experience and seeing how and where the grafts were placed, I have a high degree of confidence it will be great.
For over 10 years I watched in horror as my hair grew thinner and fewer right at the top of my head. It was embarrassing, and camouflaging my scalp delivered unsatisfactory results. Balding is a really unacceptable look for a woman. Dr. Anderson and his staff gave me several options for treating my postmenopausal hair loss. They took time to explain each option; they showed me before and after photos of other women facing the same challenge. Dr. Anderson and staff patiently answered all my questions and they really listened to my concerns. It gave me a wonderful feeling of control over my treatment plan. My scalp was painlessly numbed, and it was a smooth and painless procedure. The Exo-xom treatment plan really worked, and I was able to see the results in as little as 3 months! I am elated! Thank you so much, Dr. Anderson!
I would like to share my recent experience at Anderson Center for Hair Restoration. Being from Detroit, I had went to (4) hair restoration consultations locally, then drove to Ann Arbor and Grand Rapids for consultations with surgeons. The Ann Arbor surgeon recommended Dr. Anderson out of Atlanta, GA, because the procedure I felt I needed was FUT, and the Ann Arbor clinic only offered FUE. Then I started to research Dr. Anderson and his clinic and set up a video consultation a couple weeks later. I had been educating myself through in-person consultations and on-line research so I was familiar with some industry terminology and knew the important questions that I wanted to have answered. Dr. Anderson and Matt answered all my questions and made me feel that this would be the place I was looking for to do the FUT procedure I was looking to have done. I flew in to Atlanta the night before the procedure. Some paperwork, informational video, pictures, and the marking of the new hairline started at 7:00a.m. the next day. The surgery started closer to 8:00a.m. I have been through a couple nasal surgeries, have had a couple kidney stones, grown up with many broken bones, so the pain from this procedure barely registered. Sedatives used were appropriate and I was walking out before 5:00p.m. Of course I had to be driven back to my hotel for safety reasons. I took a pain pill around midnight just out of precaution. The next morning at 10:30a.m. I stopped into the clinic for Dr. Anderson to take a look at my scalp and also to have the staff wash my hair for me and apply the antibiotic ointment. It had been 10.5 hours since my last pain pill, and again out of precaution I took another one so I would be covered for my 3:00p.m. flight home. That was the last pain pill I used. I am now on day 3 since the procedure and no pain whatsoever. Also no lingering/residual effects from the sedatives. Not bad for 2600 grafts. As expected and as I was told, what I am feeling now is some “numbness” on the top of my scalp. Just feels a little weird. Also a little bit of bruising on my forehead. I was excited and a little anxious for this journey to begin. That being said the experience was made much more comforting by everyone I had interaction with at the clinic. It was only a few people, but with the monetary investment and the commitment needed for 100% post-operative behavior on my part, it really does help when dealing with pleasant people in a positive environment that are knowledgeable about what you are there for. I wanted to wait until the sutures were removed until I posted this review. That happened yesterday and my Primary Care Physician did this for me. He was very impressed how well the sutures were blended into the hairline on the back and sides of my head. Now that the sutures are out I can resume all previous activities. I have the slightest bit of numbness on the top and back of my head. I would say do your own research(on-line and locally) just so you are more comfortable with a better understanding of what is available and what is appropriate for your specific needs. That being said, I would strongly recommend setting up a consultation with Dr. Anderson if you are serious and want to hear what some of the best in the industry have to offer you. If you are close enough, make the drive or if you are farther away(like I was) go for the video consultation. The only regret is that I didn’t do this sooner.
Do not even know where to begin with Dr. Anderson and everything he has done for my hair growth journey. From the moment I stepped into his office to where I am today is due to the work Dr. Anderson does. Every step of the process is carefully planed and easy to follow. Him and his team install so much confidence in you and the process. I promise you will be so happy with the outcome. I am so grateful for my experience with Dr. Anderson and the Anderson Hair Center and j hope everyone can experience it!
I’m a practicing physician, and after a careful review and seeking opinions from multiple providers, I opted for Dr. Anderson to do my procedure. His approach is scientific and evidence-based. I was happy with my first procedure and returned for a second procedure to address specific concerns along my hairline. I had a positive experience throughout.
I recently returned to Anderson Center for Hair in Atlanta for a second transplant. The first one I had a few years ago with Dr. Ken?Anderson and was looking for an additional round to increase density as the grafts need a minimum amount of spacing initially to ensure proper blood flow for healing and securing the grafts. There is always a high level of professionalism and personal care with Dr. Anderson and his staff. The patient coordinator scheduled the transplant, provided thorough answers to all my questions, took the time to review my photos, discuss my previous results, and outline a realistic plan. I was able to send photos I took myself with just my iPhone camera via email as this was not my first time with the process and therefore saved me travel time to and from their office. The pre?surgical instructions were clear and concise, and I felt confident that I was doing everything correctly before the day of the procedure. On the day itself, the environment was calm and welcoming. Dr. Anderson’s staff is always personable, which made the entire process feel very tailored rather than a generic clinic visit. The procedure itself was remarkably painless, and I slept though most of it. When I left later that day, I could walk out without any discomfort or obvious swelling, which was a huge relief. Recovery was straightforward thanks to the detailed daily care sheet I received. I followed the instructions exactly: gentle rinses, no strenuous activity for the first week, and the after?hours phone number helps alleviate any anxiety or concerns even though this was not my first time. The nurse who was there during the procedure called the following day to check on me and see if I had any questions thus far. Dr. Anderson called the next day as well as a week after the procedure to ensure everything was in good order. I didn’t have any real pain even during the recovery period. There was some slight swelling that peaked on day three after the procedure for me, that just made my face look slightly puffy, but this wasn’t even really noticeable for anyone who didn’t see me daily. By the end of day four, all swelling seemed to have completely gone away. I would recommend Dr Anderson to all who are looking for a hair transplant, as just a small thing like a more complete and robust hairline can really just make you feel better about yourself day in and day out. And from a long-term perspective the earlier you get started the quicker you will see your results and faster you will enjoy the benefits!
I have recently had a hair transplant procedure done by Dr. Ken Anderson at Anderson Center for Hair in Atlanta. Leading up to the procedure I had a consultation with the patient coordinator and Dr. Anderson himself. After viewing my photos, I had submitted of my hair, they explained the procedure to me and gave me plenty of time to ask questions. Once I signed up, I received pre-surgical instructions for what to do and not do in the days leading up to the procedure. Following those instructions gave me confidence when I walked into the procedure room that I had done everything possible on my end for the procedure to be successful. I found the staff to be very professional and courteous. They made sure that I was comfortable and at ease. My wife was even able to come in at the beginning when Dr. Anderson was “marking my head” as to where my new hairline would be. The procedure itself was painless and once the procedure was over, I got up and walked out without any issue. I came back the next day for a head wash and was able to speak with Dr. Anderson and the staff again about any issues or questions I might have. Once I was sent home, I had 10 days of daily instructions as to how to care for my hair, that which was transplanted and the areas where the transplants came from. The instructions were very easy to follow. They even provided me with an after-hours phone number to call with any questions. I used that after-hours phone number and actually got a live person to speak with! As promised, I received a telephone call on the 7th day after my procedure to see how I was doing. While my hair is still very short so soon after the procedure, my wife, family and friends are very impressed with my new hair. I have a hairline now and hair on top of my head. We are all very pleased with the results.
“Excellent experience with Dr. Anderson” I am a practicing surgeon and was referred to Dr. Anderson by another surgical colleague. I had done my research and was very impressed by Dr. Anderson’s resume and experience. On my first visit, he was very friendly, professional and informative. He used a camera to show me what my hair density in the donor area looked like (which wasn’t great). He took the time to ask me what other treatments I had tried, which were virtually all, including a previous FUT transplant (by another surgeon, using the strip method). Dr. Anderson also took the time to talk to me about the areas of my hair loss that were most concerning to me. Together, we came up with a plan for an FUE transplant that would best address my concerns, considering my modest donor area density and history of previous FUT transplant. I had the procedure about 6 weeks ago. Overall, it went flawlessly. I had zero pain during the procedure. In fact, I think I slept thru most of it. I had a little bit of swelling under my eyes on post of day 2 which resolved in 2 days, probably b/c I wasn’t sleeping with my head elevated (I tried to but ended up sliding down during the night). His post op instructions are very detailed and tell you exactly what to do on each day after surgery. Makes it very easy. As anyone who has had or is interested in a hair transplant knows, I will not see results this early, it will take 3-6 months to start to see the new hairs grow in. But I couldn’t be happier with the process and the procedure itself. This procedure went much better and smoother than my original hair transplant in 2019 performed by another surgeon. As a surgeon myself it is hard to give up control and put your trust in another surgeon, but I’m so glad I did. Dr. Anderson is a surgeon you can trust to perform your procedure flawlessly. He is definitely a perfectionist. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is considering a hair transplant.
I don’t leave a lot of reviews, but feel very inclined to share my positive experience at Anderson Center for Hair. If you’re even considering a hair transplant, you HAVE to go here. You just don’t meet a lot of people like Dr. Anderson…you can tell he chose this path because he is super passionate about what he does and actually wants you being happy with the outcome. His team feels like family and is warm and welcoming to you. I was a bit nervous for my hair transplant procedure, but they actually made it very painless! I really invested in this procedure and am so so glad I actually followed through and got it done. When the procedure starts they are all serious about giving you the most relaxing experience and are very professional during the whole process. I can honestly say that the procedure itself was almost painless! Of course, you have a recovery period afterwards. But I sit here two weeks later, basically back to my normal routine. And now I feel more confident about my hairline! I love knowing that it is all my own hair which feels so natural as I watch it grow out. Amazing. Thank you so much Dr. Anderson and your wonderful team for your kindness, attentiveness, and care!
I remember the first time my hair started to thin—I would stop at nothing to hide it. I wore baseball caps everywhere I went and used hair fibers to conceal the thinning areas, hoping no one would ever notice. But as the thinning progressed, the fibers just weren’t cutting it anymore. After all, there’s only so much you can spray before it becomes obvious. I started researching clinics both in and outside the country. That’s when I came across the Anderson Center for Hair. The clinic had fantastic reviews, so I decided to give them a shot—and I’m so glad I did. When I walked into the consultation office, I saw award after award lining the walls, which further confirmed I was in the right place. I had my no-shave FUE procedure in June 2025, and I’m thrilled with the results so far. Dr. Anderson is truly an artist and his team took the time to answer every question I had (and believe me, I had plenty). On the day of my procedure, I met with the doctor to go over every step. I was anxious and nervous, but the team made sure I felt comfortable and assured me everything would turn out great. Before the procedure began, I was given some pain medication. By the time the procedure started, I was almost asleep—I literally didn’t feel any pain whatsoever. If you’re looking for a phenomenal hair restoration clinic, look no further. The Anderson Center for Hair is the place to go.
