1 mo. ago received an Implantech medium ext. anatomical chin implant. Based on specs, the small is only .5 mm smaller in projection but smaller all the way around in width and a bit shorter from top to bottom. If I am ok with the projection of the medium but unhappy with the final shape it takes (thinking thickness from top to bottom) @ 3 months out, it seems the small will sacrifice little in projection, but may offer the more subtle finer change needed in shape. Is this a fair assessment?
I 100% just don't like my chin implant. I thought about this carefully. It might make my profile look better but I do not like the frontal view, plain and simple. It's my life. Do surgeons usually charge for removal if nothing is wrong? I want it out sooner than later. How soon is too soon? Are there exceptions to the usual wait time? I'm leaving the country at 8 weeks post-op so it needs to be out before then.
I'm a female who had a chin implant two weeks ago. It's still slightly swollen but I can feel under the skin it's way too big for my chin. It's given me a very large crease under my lips which looks odd. I am still completely numb on lower lip. I have lost my smile. I adore my surgeon and think he's excellent yet I'm perplexed why I'm so disappointed with my results, he knew I wanted a slight change in my profile but it's just too much. Also, I feel too Jay Leno from front. When can I remove?
I had this procedure done a few weeks ago (3.5 weeks) and so far I am very unhappy with the results. I'm getting depressed over the way I looked and I wish I could go back in time and not have done this procedure to myself. My lower face now looks huge and I have gotten fat below my neck which I never had before. Plus my lower lip has this weird look and it is also smaller than my upper lip.
