Hello, I want to ask if it is ok to use chemical peel (ZO 3 steps peel) during trying to get pregnant (TTC) this month. I have sun damage and I want to even the tone and texture. this peel has (17% salicylic acid, 10% TCA and 5% lactic acid , Retinol Crme (6%). could the acids and vitamin A enter the bloodstream and harm the baby during the time of implantation? if it is not safe, do you recommend any safe peel or treatment during this time. I have done a VI peel 3 days ago, and in the week I did the VI peel, I begging trying actively to get pregnant. I know I am not pregnant yet, but I want to continue trying, is it safe? Are the chemicasl in the Vi peel in my body for a long time? Is it safe to use the post peel protection with hydrocortisone wile trying to get pregnant ?
the ingredients in the peel are: deionized water, glycolic acid, lactic acid, kojic acid, licoice extract, bearberry extract, citric acid, malic acid, sodium lactate, sodium hydroxine, xanthan gum, phenoxyethanol, caprylyl glycol, potassium sorbate, hexylene glycol.
