I had a lumpectomy & 8 nodes removed. I was told that I shouldnt even have needles or blood tests done on my left arm. Im now wondering if liposuction on my left under arm is safe. What about lymphedema?
I was recently approved for breast reduction surgery, I have undergone a few preoperative test, including blood tests and a mammogram, my mammogram came back abnormal on my right breast, I was asked to come back in for a ultrasound, and a benign noncancerous nodule was found, is it okay to proceed with the surgery or should I cancel it all together?
My pre-op blood work came back normal, except for elevated liver enzymes. My primary care and the plastic surgeon both independently suggest this isn't something to be concerned about with regards to breast reduction surgery. In my best guess, the values are a result of having recently used Wellbutrin or using Ibuprofen for treatment of genuine migraines. I do enjoy having a liver, so I'm concerned about that the ramification might be to my liver of post-op pain meds. Any thoughts here?
I've been approved for BR surgery and suffer with Gollactorreah. Having had blood tests my hormones are all normal. GP thinks it could be a side effect of venlafaxine. I BF my son till he was 18mts. Milk dried up by 6mts. I get occasional let-down reflex and when I squeeze I can get milk. Sometimes Green - again GP says it's where it's not being used. My question is - will this be a problem for my surgeon?!
