Yes, there are people who want to attain the look of Barbie via cosmetic surgery. One woman actually broke the record on having the most procedures done just to obtain the classic doll's looks.

Now, requests to look like actual, living celebs -- such as Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Jessica Alba -- are making headlines. Some who've undergone this copycat augmentation cite reasons of career, but others seem to be seeking the unattainable.

Recently, international news was made when a British woman died in Philadelphia receiving an illegal butt augmentation from an unlicensed individual.  Claudia Aderotimi, 20, wanted a “Beyonce-like” figure to become more noticeable and help her burgeoning hip-hop career.

A Chinese woman sought plastic surgery to look like Jessica Alba.  As told by ABC News,  the young woman had recently endured a break-up and was advised by her friends to get the surgery to win back her boyfriend – a huge Alba fan.

Kim Kardashian went so far as to beg a fan NOT to have surgery to look like her via twitter. The fanwanted the change to prevent her husband from leaving. Kardashian tweeted, “"Pls dont. Ur husband should love u 4 who u are! Don't try 2 b someone else. Im sure u are beautiful inside &out! Just as u are."Butt Augmentation Gallery and Pictures

Let's suggest a more demure approach, for starters: plastic surgery to emulate a favorite celebrity body part. Dr. Richard Fleming, Beverly Hills facial plastic surgeon, told CNN last year, "When people come in and say, 'I like Nicole Kidman's nose' and use it as a reference, that's positive, and constructive. They're not trying to be Nicole Kidman. They're using a public example to describe a physical attribute they like."

According to Fox News, a duo of plastic surgeons recently came out with their “14th Annual America’s Most Wanted Celebrity Body Parts” list. Kim K does not make the top 3 in any category, although we did not see “behind” as a category. Here are some highlights:

  • Most Wanted Nose: For the gals, newly-minted Oscar winner, Natalie Portman; for the guys, a fellow Oscar nominee, Jude Law. Average reported cost of a nose job: $6,100.
  • Most Wanted Lips: A surprise winner for women – Scarlett Johannson. She beat out the normally requested winner of Angelina Jolie, who was second. For the men, the winner was Ashton Kutcher. Average reported cost of lip augmentation: $1,800.
  • Most Wanted Chin: The stunning Halle Berry tops the list for the women. It’s certainly a mad world as men request Mad Men star, Jon HammAverage reported cost of chin implants: $4,300.

Have you ever wanted Kim Kardashian's curves or Jon Hamm's chin?
