Smelly underarms - will Botox help ?

by

It should be remembered that there are two types of sweat glands, eccrine and apocrine. It is the apocrine that produce the baceria and sebum and cause the odor in the underarms, groin, etc. It is the eccrine sweat glands that produce excessive sweat, which is primarily water and sodium chloride salt. Botox works by limiting the production of sweat from the eccrine sweat glands. Therefore, for odor elimination, one needs to use a deodorant, not an antiperspirant.
