Hyperhidrosis of the face - Botox?

by

Although hyperhidrosis involving the face can be treated with Botox, as one can imagine, this is a sensitive area to treat with multiple needle sticks. Most patients are adverse to having this done. In my opinion, the most desperate patients who suffer from hyperhidrosis are ones who have hyperhidrosis involving the head and neck. As such, they may benefit most from endoscopic thoracic sympathectomy as opposed to repeated and painful injections with Botox.
