I am 67 and in good health. I did not ask for this peel. It was suggested that I do this peel for improvement. But now face is much worse than when I went to their office!
Ive had hydroquinone before doing TCA peel and never had melasma on my forehead before. It appeared suddenly, out of nowhere after using hydroquinone to prepare my skin for TCA peel. And after this peel, it just went worse. I had another peel but this melasma is still here and visible as never. How can I fix this since I didnt have it before I started doing chemical peels? I apply spf 50 daily under foundation and it seems fruitless, melasma is even more visible.
I recently did a TCA chemical peel to help with hyperpigmentation after an acne scab. The spot peeled and healed beautifully, however there is still the spot. It isnt dark like it was but it was noticeable. I dont know if I should continue to use chemical peels on it or not. I have used 4% Hydroquinone, tri-Luma cream, bio oil, nano needling and infrared.. I dont know what else I should do. I am an esthetician and have access to professional products
I have been using Murad Intensive C, Sun Block, 2% Hydroquinon so far the Lightening process has been SLOW. I decided to try a stringer regimen I purchased TCA5%, 4% Hydroquinone. I Pretreated the area on my upper lip with AHA/BHA Cleanser for 5 days then applied 5 layers of TCA5%. The next morning I moisturized my upper applying avoided going outside but when I did I applied Sunblock every 2 hours. It's the 5th day after My TCA 5% Can I do another one in 2 days? (Photos Added)
I just had a 30% TCA peel done 11 days ago. It frosted then dried up and peeled, and now my skin is dark. Could this be hyperpigmentation? If so will it fade over time? I am going to start using hydroquinone it is so embarrassing, but the doctors say it is normal. Will the darkness fade soon? I have to go on a summer vacation and its so embarrasing, as I cant wear my back out.
I'm going to give myself a tca 18 % chemical peel on some dark and scared areas , I've previous used tca 15% successfully, how long do I have to wait before I start using hydroquinone on the treated areas.
I am a 30 yrs old indian male with brown skin, After the 30% tca peel, my neck is even darker. Is this normal? does the skin will correct in a few days? Am I over-reacting, should I wait for a few more days to see? if not what are my options? Will laser help after scrapping the top layer of neck's skin? I did this peel this to get rid of hyperpigmentation caused by 4% hydroquinone so bleaching agent is not an option to fix this. Please advise and help. will the pink spots go away? Thanks
Hi i did a 20%tca Peel about 2 years ago and left on for approximately 1 min and it has left me with a consistent redmark that does not fade i have tried 4 sessions of ND YAG laser RETIN-A and 6% hydroquinione and no improvement any other suggestions? thanks
I've had dark spots on my legs for almost more than 2 to 3 years now which was caused by mosquito bites. I would like to have them removed and my dermatologist schedule me to do microdermabrasion at the end of this week and also he put me on retin A, hydroquinone for a week or so. I just want to find out if one treatment is enough to remove the marks as my dermatologist told me and would other treatment like TCA peel work better? i want to see immediate result if possible
