I had an upper and lower blepharoplasty last year. My right eye healed badly, now I have new drs for ptosis surgery and strabismus surgery, as I have horrible double vision now as well. Which repair should I do first? Strabismus de says it doesn't matter, since he'll be at the lower eyelid and ptosis dr will be at upper. But I'm worried about bad results again. Also, ptosis dr says my eyelid crease will adjust without more cutting but I'm questioning if that is correct.
I'm not sure exactly what eye is the problem or if it's sometimes one or the other. I feel that my lazy eye is hindering my eye vision . Despite being told I have bad vision previously by the nurses I've never came around to getting them. I wouldn't mind wearing glasses , in fact I've been wanting to get them a long time ago so that I can see better. But my main concern is the lazy eye , is there anything I can do to fix this ? Please help.
Recently I've been noticing that me right is looks different than my left idk what it can be because it wasn't always like this i barley starting noticing it this year. My right eye looks like it point higher than my left eye and there's more white underneath my right eye
Hi, i've just had strabismus surgery which has gone reasonably well. However, my upper eyelid is closing by about 20-30%, which is worse following the strab surgery. My strab surgery was covered by private medical cover. Is it likely my eyelid surgery will be (if i say it was caused due to the strab surgery) Im 95% blind in this eye too. I'm ok looking up, but not at eye level. If its not covered, what estimate would cost be?
I had my strabismus surgery last week, and it was 70% success but I noticed that my left eyebrow little bit higher than the other one (i.e. the eyebrows not symmetrical any more). Is this permanent thing or it will recess by time? And is there any type of exercise that I can do to speed up the recess?
I have lazy eye from birth. I am in the UK and have an appointment for either botox or surgery. I am really scared of needles. is there any way i can get botox without seeing the needle or should i go for surgery?
I had strabismus surgery on only my left eye 4 weeks ago. The alignment is fine now, but what I didn't expect is that now my eyelid droops. My eyelid feels like there is a weight on it that prevents me from lifting the lid all the way up. I did not have this problem before. Is this likely permanent? Would a blepharoplasty fix this? I had a previous strabismus surgery 25 years ago, and DID NOT have droopy eyelids afterwards.
is this squint operational? I was in one clinic two days ago and was told they only operate horizontal squints (inward, outward) and that my case is quite rare. I wonder now if such squint is operational at all?
Hey, so Ive recently started taking finasteride due to genetic hairloss. Also Id like to have squint surgery next year. And as far as I know, such surgery is under general anesthesia. So my question is, does taking finasteride could interfere with such surgeries? Or can I keep taking it prior to surgery with no problems?
