In July 2017, I had rhinoplasty to narrow, remove the bulbous tip, and give a slight slope to my male ethnic (Latino) nose that has thick skin. The result was a slightly smaller tip that healed into a droopy tip and was still bulbous, and a wide nose. The same surgeon performed the revision in May 2018. The splint removal revealed extensive bruising on the bridge of my nose along with a large blister from (I was told) the extensive scar removal. Is this expected? How do I heal this?
Hello! I've had an open rhinoplasty 16 days ago, and today (16th of August) I saw two kind of blisters next to both sides of my nose. What could this be? Should I be concerned, or is it normal? Is it related to my rhinoplasty? They itch a lot, but it doesn't hurt to touch them. Please know that if somehow I had to contact my surgeon, I can't since it was done abroad. Also, I'm sorry for my nose being kinda dirty in the pic: having a very hard time to clean it properly. Thanks in advance!
There's no pain nor it itchy my doctor said it just a little blister because I had the tape on for to long but I am still worried it necrosis she gave me some medicine to put on it already should I be worried
I had surgery 3 weeks ago everything went very normal, and now I noticed that my left nostril is more swollen than the right, I have 2 little blisters and even on the inside of the nostril I have like a swollen bump I don't know if it's tissue or a blister. Can it be an infection? And also is it normal for one nostril to be more swollen than another?
I had a tip rhinoplasty about 10 months ago. I had some residual scar tissue in my left nostril which makes it look a bit asymmetrical still, but nothing like this bump that formed about 2 days ago suddenly on my septum. It doesn't hurt when left alone, but feels a little tender to the touch. It is right above my incision scar. It's not hard, but feels firmer than something like a blister. What should I do?
