Same cheek pic

So the first night I got this awful headache. Medicine did not help. The light from my phone kept me from googling whether it was normal. It sucked. Some freckles look like raised browns scabs. I notice no difference yet.

So this was my first ipl photofacial. To briefly...

So this was my first ipl photofacial. To briefly update you all since January first I have had two microderma pen treatments (with microdermabrasian a few days prior each pen treatment) I love my results so far and plan on more dermapen in the future. One other area of concern are my freckles and uneven skin tone on my chin and nose creases. Growing up in a pool and playing soccer with no sunscreen really took a toll on my face, chest, shoulders etc. I really feel they make me look "old". So a few hours ago I had an ipl.

Two hours ago I had a full face ipl. At the moment I feel the slightest pressure headache but no other side effects. It hurt. It hurt bad. It lasted a while 30 minutes. She first zapped a test spot to see if I'd have a negative reaction. Then she applied this ice cold gel to my face. She then did one sweep with the large lazer head. Each zap felt like a burn to my face. The actual head was very hot like temperature hot. Then each zap felt like grabbing a hot pan off of the stove on accident. Around my eyebrows and under my eyes the light was very bright and had me seeing stars. The registered nurse have me stress balls to squeeze. It's an annoying pain like getting a tattoo but it burns like hell for real. I was immediately red faced but now just notice my freckles are dark. I have some pictures I toons few weeks ago after my dermapen I am posting. And one from right now. When it was over I was glad. It's probably the most painful out of the lip injections microderm and cheek injections so far. It was a doozy.

Painful enough to rethink round two? No, it was a squirmy burning sensation but definitely not scary enough to hold me back from a second treatment
