I am now 4 months post op, still very happy. I thought I might miss my old nose but to be honest I just cringe now when I see old photos, I have absolutely no regrets except that I wish I'd done it when I was younger. I had quite a few requests for pics so I thought I would add some. Sorry the 'afters' are not very clear.
I have wanted a rhinoplasty for a long time but...
I have wanted a rhinoplasty for a long time but was concerned about what could go wrong, recovery time etc. I am a 35 year old mum of 3. I tend to go by instinct and when I found Mr Uppal I just felt sure that he was the person I wanted to do my surgery. He is extremely professional and capable, very easy to talk to, and I felt I could trust him. He listened and noted what I wanted to achieve but also spotted other issues and knew what to do about them. I had a large projection, hump, deviated septum, my nose tip needed bringing down slightly and shortening, and I also had issues with my top lip, which is quite complicated, and he had a solution for all of that. I had a certain idea of what I wanted and I asked for this, not knowing whether it could be achieved but he did give me the nose shape I had always wanted and I am now 3 weeks post op and very happy, I have had no problems with recovery and am just really impressed with what he managed to do. I was very nervous but the hospital stay & surgery in Windsor was a really positive experience and I would absolutely do it again. The hospital staff and Mr Uppal's team were lovely and I felt really looked after. I had no pain whatsoever, just swelling and bruising. I am very happy with the whole experience, he fixed every problem I had with my nose and my face looks completely natural and in balance. People keep saying I look different and I can see them trying to figure out what has changed but even my mum couldn't tell it was my nose, and I think it is a mark of a good rhinoplasty if you just look 'better' but no one knows why. Mr Uppal is an excellent surgeon, and I would 100% recommend him for rhinoplasty.
