Only 2nd Day Post-op and It is Not So Bad - Winchester, MA

I am in my 40's and disliked the muffin top over my jeans. I am not overweight. I went for a lipo consult and Dr Hall suggest a lower body lift with some lipo. The pain is not so bad and if the result are what I realistically expect, then it will be well worth it. I will keep everyone updated

1 week later, removed the drains which I must admit is was the most disturbing so far. I am still a bit swollen. Had an appointment with Dr. Hall and he said I am healing well. The incision is itchy and the compression garmet is a bit uncomfortable. Dr Hall says "just light walking" for the next 5 weeks for a total of 6 weeks. I have checked in at work and am out of the house. So far so good. Hopefully, the end result will be worth it.

2.5 week later and a lot of the swelling has gone down. The incision is very small and healing well. Dr. Hall and Linda changed my bandage and showed me how to care for the incision site.

The area is itchy, but this is natural healing. So far so good and lots of support from Dr. Hall and Linda.

4 weeks later and the wounds are healed, although they look a bit red. I still feel some pressure around the scar. The scar looks good - very fine and precise. I am not as itchy and I do not have a muffin top. I actually have a pretty decent waist line. Wearing the compression garment is not comfortable but necessary. I see the Doc in 2 more weeks and I hope I get a red light to resume normal activity.

I have diligently tried to not lift more than pounds per arm or twist. The scar is always covered with Micro Pore tape which I change weekly. I recommend this surgery to reshape your body. ONLY with a qualified Doctor. You get what you pay for!

Btw; this was a lower body lift only on my back above the butt. I did not really need to lift by butt, "but" the surgery did give me some lift. An added bonus.

Great review?

I actually see results already. I did the my back not the front. Although there is still a lot of swelling, I can see a waist line and my skin is taught. I hope this helps.

That's awesome! Hopefully you now have the body you always wanted... although it will only get better as your swelling reduces.

Thanks for the updates. Sounds like post-op is going well for you. Did your doctor say when you would begin to see your results?
