Lymphatic massages after smartlipo- worth it!
Day 3 and have had two lymphatic massages already. It's kind of weird and uncomfortable at first, but my swelling went down considerably just in The hour before and after second session. Definitely definitely recommend!
Oh and I'm adding pics my bruising!! Pain is much more bearable today (day 3) and I do see some results lower back, but otherwise too swollen to tell.

Smartlipo NJ Days 1 and 2 - Ouch!!!
Had my smartlipo yesterday!!! Upper arms, back, flanks, and other thighs. Showed up at 8am to dress, take pics, get marked up, and allow the oral Percocet and Xanax to settle in before taking me into the procedure room.
Staff was great, office was nice, and the procedure was going well....I even feel asleep for over an hour..... Until the pain med and Xanax seemed to suddenly wear off ....and ouch!!!!!
They tried their best to manage my acute pain by giving me Another dose of oral meds and injecting me a few times with lidocaine, but that far into the procedure - they can't just stop. That last half hour or so was very uncomfortable and did hurt quite a bit....
Not as much as the recovery!!! Last night and all day today I'm in so much more pain than I'd ever expected. Laying down hours, young to the bathroom hurts, sitting up hurts..... Walking is ok surprisingly. Had my first lymphatic drainage massage today and that was actually relaxing, although very painful as well.
I feel swollen, but also can tell (especially lower flanks) than I'm smaller and tighter. Can't wait to see these results!!!
