I didn't like the hollows under my eyes due to...
I didn't like the hollows under my eyes due to gravity (cheeks sinking down) - and my lips were also a bit thinned. I was planning a visit to NYC anyway, so after exchanging emails and pics with Dr. J and his excellent staff, I decided to take the bus over to West Orange, NJ and see if I was a candidate for permanent filler. I couldn't believe the cost compared to the temporary stuff!
From the pics I'd emailed to Dr. J, he wasn't sure about the under-eye area, but when he saw me in person, he said the hollows "bugged" him immediately. He has a keen aesthetic eye and also noticed the lips could use a little plumping, but not too much. He doesn't do "duck lips"! Dr. J felt other areas of concern did not need addressing - he's not in this for the money, but to improve people's looks, and not make them look freakish or unnatural. He really enjoys what he's doing. He sings and chit chats while he works - is always happy and pleasant, putting his patients at ease!
The procedure didn't hurt at all, surprisingly, with the numbing cream. And no one can tell I had anything done! I just look better! I highly recommend making the trip to see Dr. Joseph - you will NOT be sorry!!
