11 days post op tt revision, flank excision liposuction
It's been 11 days , days 9 and 10 was extremely painful. My incisions are healing well just during sleep time it's very uncomfortable. Felt like pinching burning sensation. The healing looks good. Swelling looks like it's getting a little smaller. I can't wait for the final results.
1 week post op
Today I went in for my 1 week post op appointment. I had both drain tubes taken out. Dr.D is amazing! Taking out my drains wasn't as bad as I thought. I actually didn't feel anything at all when it was taken out. Again, amazing doctor! Next week I'll go in for my 2nd week post op visit. We will then determine to see if I'll need to take a couple sutures out. Healing was on track and looked really good. I am happy with my results. Can't wait til it's all healed and no longer swollen so I could hit back the gym and improve what was fixed.
Day 6 post op
Day 5 post op pain seems to be getting under control. Without these pain medications the tender and sharp stinging sensation would be a little unbearable. Today I finally took off the initial bandage gauze from the incisions. The bleeding wasn't that bad at all. I could have left it on til my one week post op visit. It itches a lot so I figure to change it out leaving the steristrips on until doctor takes the out. Feels so good to breathe and that that compression garment off for a bit. As each day passes the pain is tolerable. Although, it kind of depends what time of the day it is. Sometimes I feel no pain and usually evening time it gets a little sore, like stinging sensation. After seeing the incision lines around my body, it looks really good. Dr.D was very precise on his decision of where he cut and it's all nice and clean. No jaggedy butcher cut incisions. I am so thankful, thanks Dr.D. I have noticed that the flank areas seem to feel swollen and bigger than before we did the surgery 5 days ago. I know it's still healing and it'll flatten out as time goes by. It's so tender, but I'm happy with it. Rambling cause I can't sleep. I'll post another update when drains are finally out and one week checkup.
