Hello everyone! I am so happy that I found this...

Hello everyone! I am so happy that I found this website.

I am a 43 year old with 4 adult children, 25, 24, 21, and 20 and 6 grandchildren! My husband and I are currently caring for our youngest granddaughter, a 14 month old. My husband of 23 years is truly heaven sent; he is very supportive of me through this journey and will be caring for me and the baby while I heal.

I have been dreaming of having full breasts and a flat tummy for over 10 years and I finally have the opportunity to do it. But, I can’t help but to feel so guilty for doing something for myself and spending so much money doing it!
I have been to two consultations, I know you are advised to get 3, but the first surgeon that I saw is the same surgeon my daughter had for her BA, she looks beautiful and the surgeon did a fantastic job on her!

The second ps I saw was a total [RS bleep] and had his own agenda. So, I decided to go with my daughter’s female ps, she is very thorough and told me that she will get me a flat belly and nice breasts to complement my small frame and broad shoulders. A little about myself, I am 5’2 and 155 lbs., so I am getting a TT with lipo of the flanks and a BA. However, I am concerned about the cost $16,600, so I am seriously reconsidering meeting with at least one more ps. My other concern is the risk with multiple procedures, but my ps tells me not to worry. I also told her that I would like to stay overnight at the hospital, but she does not recommend it due to the high risk of infection in a hospital setting. Has anyone else heard of this?

For those of you who have had the tt or ba, what type of compression garment did you use?

I have read a lot of the comments and stories from others having similar procedures and noticed that a lot of you are taking multivitamins and vitamin C to promote the healing. Is there a specific brand of multivitamin that’s better than another? I am eager to find out anything that will help me thru this long journey.

Thank you all!

So, today I recieved a call from the surgery center giving me instructions for my Tues surgery. I need to arrive by 6:15am, no eating or drinking nothing after midnight..not even a little bit of water. I also need to bring along my ID, my driver (hubby), and an urine sample. I am so anxious and scare at the same time, but excited to finally get a tight and flat stomach after 4 wonderful kids :)
I am making plans to join a gym after my ps clears me to exercise...I must say..I am so looking forward to sporting a tight and sexy body with new firm breasts....lol. Tomorrow, I plan on getting another granny gown, my stool softner, Arnica pills for the swelling and bruising. We'll also be grocery shopping for "healthy" meal ideas - since my hubby will be taking a week off from work to care for me and care for our grandaughter. As mentioned before he is God sent.

Yesterday, I recieved a call from my ps office. My husband had to take the call since I lost my voice :( I went to the urgent care and was told that my Acid Reflux was irritating my throat thus causing me to lose my voice. It's because I'm so worried and nervous about the surgery. I have an appt on Monday with my ps to go over all of the final preparations and to take some more photos. I'll also be bringing in a swim suit so we can determine where to put the incision. As the date draws closer I'm getting more nervous and scared. I keep trying to find excuses to back out. It's so bad I haven't even paid my ps yet :-o My husband keeps trying to reassure me but I'm still scared. Did anyone else feel the same way?? I will try once again to post before pics, but I have to wait for the baby to go to bed :)

This is the same surgeon my daughter used for her BA - we were very pleased with her bed side manner and skill. I feel very confident that she will give me the flat tummy and beautiful breasts I have been longing for.
