Hello! I'm 30 years old, don't smoke or drink, a mother of 1 child (11 yrs), had an emergency hysterectomy when I gave birth to her at the age of 18. Over the years I have struggled with menopause and weight gain (in my mid- section mostly, and PCOS-which makes it even more difficult to lose weight). Had my ovary and a cyst the size of a golf ball removed about a year ago-I still have multiple smaller cysts though. No meds or hormone therapy treatments. I've tried multiple weight loss products, programs, weight watchers, trainers, gym memberships, etc. over the years and It's been a journey! Over the past 11 years I've struggled to break 200 lbs or even 220. I've remained consistent in between the 240-250 area with exercising and dieting in the last 3 years. My goal/expectation with having a tummy tuck is to primarily get rid of my problem area (stubborn stomach fat). I would love to be under 200 lbs, but honestly, my goal is not to be "thin/skinny", my goal is to be healthy, look proportioned with the way my body is built, and to gain motivation moving forward in my journey. I want to look on the outside how I feel about myself on the inside. I'm not perfect, but I could definitely use a little help! I'm looking to have the procedure done in March sometime. Planning to lose 10-15 lbs by then! Thoughts, comments, concerns are welcome! Thanks!
