Hi everyone, hope you are all doing well. It has been a roller coaster for me. I am generally pretty happy with my results but a few things have me really stressed out. I have this crease in the center of my tummy right above my scar and it just ruins the look of everything I try on. My PS says it will probably go away. I do love my new belly button...it is very cute, but its either really deep or my abs are really swollen around it. I just don't feel like I'm as flat as I should be, either. I am hoping that's just the "swell hell" everyone talks about, but tell me what you think. Happy healing!

You've got some nice curves, Kay. I think it just takes time for everything to settle. I think once the swelling goes down you'll probably feel even better about your results. We all have to give it time.

I think your results look great! Looks like you're a bit swollen which is to be expected so don't. Give it some time.

Thanks so much. I posted the question to the Doctors as well, and they all seem to be in agreement that everything will be okay as well.

Hi ladies! Getting better slowly but surely. I was joking with my hubby and told him "I can't believe I paid someone to do this to me!" as I'm walking hunched over looking rather sexy in my binder, plaid boxer shorts and drain...lol. I stopped taking all narcotic meds and feel good about that. Hubby is picking up my shopping list so I can spend the afternoon making Uncle Juniors Sunday Gravy from the Sopranos. Yummo! Still taking it very easy.

Sorry for the delay...I have not been recovering well. The muscle repair was much more extensive than he thought. I had to change my prescription from hydrocodon to dilaudid to manage the pain. At my first day follow up, the nurse took off the binder and I almost passed out. I turned sheet white, started sweating and she promptly inverted me on the table...lol. Felt better then. Still wearing the compression stocking because my trips out of bed have only been to the bathroom. Thank goodness I get a shower tomorrow. Ginger ale and protein drinks have been my best friends.
