Hi! I am 44 years old and a mother to 3 awesome teenagers...19, 18 and 15. I have been married for 21 years to my husband and soulmate who totally supports my decision for a TT. I have dreamed of doing this for many years and finally!!! Surgery is scheduled and paid for! I am happy with the rest of my body...even my small boobs which I am keeping...lol. Ladies, I just want to say thanks! I have poured over your stories and pics and learned so much! I look forward to showing you my new tummy!

So, all that's left to do is wait and keep reading all of the updated reviews...lol. The only issue I am having really is with my 15 year old daughter. She doesn't want to talk about my TT. She has gotten a little better since her father explained to her that this isn't just for cosmetic reasons, but that because abdominal muscles support the back, separated or weakened muscles can lead to chronic back pain, which I have dealt with for a while. She has alot of body image issues and is sensitive about her extra weight. She is going to the gym and working on cardio 3 days a week, but does it kind of half hearted...you know, slowest setting, lots of breaks, etc.

Any other advice from moms who have dealt with this would be most appreciated.

You have to do what makes you happy. Your daughter just needs to accept that. She'll get over it with time.

Mine is 14 yrs and I told her...."if I don't eat it , you can't either".... she lost 5 lbs in 1 month. Now she is a lil more carefull on what she eats and always asking me first...but she is a lil lazy with excersices but learned to drink water instead of cokes....small steps 4 her..
