12 week pics... Not sure how I feel

$7,500
Well I've passed the 3 month mark and Dr. P says that's when the swelling should get better, but that remains to be seen. Although its not as bad as before, the swelling and pain that goes along with it is still there. Hopefully I will see a change soon and this waist will go down. I'm now down to a 3x small garment at night with just an x small during the day, however I'm not seeing any progress. I guess I'm just out of patience. I'm still all over the place emotionally with this. Some days I feel like I look great and sometimes I want to slap myself for wasting money. For now I will keep getting my weekly massage in an effort to loosen up the hardness in my stomach and hope that things will get better soon.

Thanks for the update...good info to have. Now I know that even 3 months post-op I can expect some swelling!
How much you weight at sx in what size faja u wear after sx
I was about 140 before surgery. He put me in a small garment. I haven't lost much weight. I'm about 135 now.
I'm like 160 u think ill fit a small garment also
I would guess a medium at first. That small was pretty tight on me.
Isn't tight better
Hey I have my board in foam will they let us take that on plane with our laggage
Why did the doctor tell you it would be a waste of time to do round 2?
Sorry for the delay ove definitely been MIA. That particular Dr. didn't think the changes he could make would be worth the cost of the surgery.
Looking good hun!
So you did see a dr in VA but was unsatisfied ???...
Yes, I did in 2012. I got the run around about my concerns. I ended up looking pretty much like I did before the surgery.

Almost 10 weeks and still trying to get it right

I haven't updated in a while as I have just been over this entire process. I went to see Dr. Perry last week just to get his take on my healing. I don't know what possessed me to roll my happy behind up in there with taking some pain meds first smh... He started pushing and prodding and it hurt so much!! Then he pulled out that dang medicine ball, I gave him the look of death. Yes at 10 weeks my midsection is still sore. Needless to say, I am still very swollen. My waist is holding around 27" and Dr. P thinks it will go down another inch or 2 :). This has definitely been a ride. I still have my good and bad days but overall I am happy with my results thus far. My biggest issue is keeping my jeans from falling down, but I will take that. Anyway happy healing ladies and best of luck to everyone taking this journey.

Hey Hun... Do you still have the stiffness?? It's driving me crazy. Thought it would be gone by now and my back is still swollen.. Ugh'
Hey, yes I do from time to time. Yesterday my swelling was really bad and this morning I'm pretty stiff around the waist. Dr. Perry did say it would be about 3 months before it starts to subside. I still have a lot of swelling too, which he said was normal. Just hang in there, I feel your pain (litterally). How are you doing otherwise?
Lol.. Otherwise I'm great. Loving my results, the curves are looking good. I have an appt with massage envy this weekend I can't wait to relieve some of this tension in my arms..

Healing is such a process...

Well it's been a while since I updated, partly because the healing process has been so frustrating and I've been trying to get back into the flow of things. It's 5 weeks today and I'm still satisfied with my results. Unfortunately the swelling is still an issue. If I move too much my stomach swells. If I stand I one spot too long my back swells. Oh what is a girl to do. I have finally found someone who can provide a decent massage so hopefully it will help with the swelling, fluid, and tenderness. I'm am, however, still trying to find that perfect compression garment (seamless) so that I can wear it under my clothes. Problem is, I can't find an x-small to save my life :(. Any suggestions you ladies may have are well welcomed. Well ladies happy healing to all. Off to find a great tailor because nothing fits except stretch pants lol.

How did the vedette 100 work for you? I ordered mine off amazon in a small and its too tight. Which is crazy because I went by the measurement... Sending back for a medium. Have you looked into getting one of Perry's garments in a smaller size?
I like it. It's really tight so I just wear it at night. I emailed Dr. Perry last week about a garment suggestion and I'm still waiting on a response. He had to search for a small when I was there so I doubt he would have an x-small but I'm hoping he could point me in the right direction. How is your healing?
It's going great. Finally got the seroma to go down, hasn't came back. Measurements are st a stand still and my back is still swollen. But I feel a lot better. Thx
What are your measurements ?
Under bust 31.5 Before was 36 Waist is 28.5 before was 33 Hips are 42 before was 36
Yea our sizes are. VERY similiar.. Lol. I googled massage envy and found one near me, thx.. Didn't know Michigan had any.lol
