Before and afters!

It's offical! I'm 5 days post-Op!!

I made it! And I'm lobing the results! Let me break it down and what had happened in the last five days. The day of surgery I had to be at the office at 9:30. The nurse told me to me to get there 30 minutes prior to my surgery time which was scheduled for 10 am. I arrive at 9:30 and they take me back to a waiting room in the back. I waited about 15 minutes before a nurse takes me back to do a pregnancy test. After that I go back to waiting room and wait to be called back. The nurse calls me back about 10 minutes later. She takes me back to a room where she takes my BP, pictures, and asks me about my medical history. When she is doing that the anastgeologist comes into the room to introduce himself. He was an older gentlemen who seemed very sweet. Shortly after that the doctor comes in and I meet with him. He was very nice and straight to point. He asked me what I wanted and he told me what he could achieve. He leave and I wait about 15 minutes before being taken back to the surgery room. This is the part that I felt like backing out for about 10 minutes. They take you back to a very cold and sterile room where the nurses are waiting. One nurse instructed me to take off my gown and place it on the floor and then stand on it while she cleans the back of me off with this cold solution. When she was done cleaning the back of me she tells me to sit in the bed but not to have my hands touch the bed. I lay in the bed and she then cleans the front of me off. The anastgeologist then comes into the room and attempts to start my ivy. Well let's just say he had to like me five times before he was able to start the ivy drop. Yes, five times and he only used two needles!! Anytime you enter a vein with a needle and you have to take the needle out for any reason, you MUST use a new needle!! He only used two needles and I was poked five times! That really upset me! That can cause an infection.. Oh and he had no gloves on when doing this! When I woke up I don't remember much pain I remember the doctor coming for a moment and I think he said he put 1600cc in, but I'm got to have to double check because I was in and out of sleep. The ride home was tough because I was throwing up the whole time : (. I continued to throw up the rest of that night every time I stood up. As far as the pain, the pain was not bad at all. I maybe took about 3 pain pills the whole time within the last five days. I'm living my results so far!
