One month post CS

Have to admit, even a few days later I noticed a flatter stomach. That Said, it could've been multiple factors causing that - I ended up flying to Tokyo for four days and basically spent my days there eating super low carbs and high protein (not on purpose but the sashimi was unreal and delicious!).
Anyhow - what I really noticed was the numbness. A few days post CS I was sore t felt like achy muscles.
Today I'm one month post CS and the numbness is almost gone, I'd say 90% gone. I've been working out/hot yoga'ing quite regularly and sticking to a predominantly clean diet of high veg content. Do I notice a major difference? No, not really. On certain days (when I'm not bloated from a particular food item or from PMS symptoms), I do.
Dr says it's too early to take post pics. She's says 3 months so I'm going to wait till end of September to really evaluate.

Sitting here getting my muffin top done. To be honest, the doc says I don't have much and even turned me down when I asked to get my bat wings done. She said I could get bra roll/flanks but doesn't expect me to see majorly drastic results on my muffin top.

But ya know, I'm a girl frustrated with years of battling herself on these body image things so I figured, hey if Coolsculpting can even kill off *some* fat cells, it's still a battle I'll have won.

I had lipo about 10 years ago on my stomach and thighs and as we all know, it's super effective but it does leave you kind of lumpy here and there. But it was one of the best things I've ever spent $ on but now that i don't have that much fat to suck out, and not to mention lipo recovery time takes a looooong time to fully recoup from...I figured I'd give Coolsculpting a shot at the muffin top.

So here I am. I have 7 minutes left to go on my left side. The most uncomfortable part is the suctioning - kinda feels like your skin is being pulled away from the muscle but that's only because I was resisting it because it felt so weird. If you can fully relax the belly then you're good and the suctioning will suck in as much of your body as it can.

The second most uncomfortable thing (which should technically be the first thing) is the cooling gel pad they place on you. It's like jumping into a cold swimming pool. That kinda feeling.

Everything else is fine. Read your book, scroll through Instagram and sip your Starbucks for an hour. Or sleep. I'm actually feeling kind of tired and a bit dizzy now but I haven't eaten anything and only have my soy latte so maybe that's why.

Post-Scultping (left side)

Ok. So now that I'm into hour #2 (getting my right lower ab done) I can talk about the left side.

The MOST uncomfortable part thus far is that two minute massage post-treatment. Holy crap - I asked why she had to knead my frozen fat in such a quick, finger-poking way...and that's how they're taught to do it apparently. I wished they could go slow like kneading bread dough, but apparently they have two minutes to restore blood flow/circulation to the area or something so that's why it's gotta be done that way. Anyway...no biggie, it was just the most uncomfortable thing.

Once they removed the applicator, I saw that frozen butter-stick shaped lump. Pretty straight forward stuff.

Will post back here tomorrow and shortly thereafter. I'm not expecting anything drastic.

Today's weight: 125lbs

Exercise includes: 3-4 days hot yoga, gym for cardio on off-days, either elliptical or running

Diet include: mainly vegetarian diet (I'm trying to lose weight and get down to 117-120lbs) so my life consists of kale salads/tons of greens, chicken or salmon atop of those salads, juicing and throwing in 2-3 tsps of chia seeds in, lower carb intake in general - trying to stay away from sugars/refined foods.
