RIght out of surgery
I had surgery today and was put into an abdominal binder instead of a faja with two JP drains. I am feeling a bit out of it and moving very slowly. But the surgery was a success thank God. My surgery was scheduled first thing in the morning and I was at the surgicenter at 5:30 am. All of the employees there were really lovely. Everyone from the registration woman, Connie, to my nurse Eunice, and the OR nurse and the PACU nurse. Literally, the whole staff was amazing. I was nervous going in but almost immediately when I laid on the table for surgery, they gave me something that put me out.
This is the Start of my TT/ MR/Lipo Journey
So I had my consultation with Dr. Kordestani yesterday and I was so thrilled. He is totally booked through 2022, so being able to see him yesterday was a blessing. Hes really sweet and I feel comfortable with him. Our consultation was brief but it was to the point and that's exactly what I like. I dont have a date yet, but I will be getting surgery this year. I will be documenting my journey.
