While researching before and after pictures prior to deciding on a surgeon, I had a really difficult time finding images with a similar body type to mine. I am a former fitness model and after my first pregnancy gained 50lbs and stretch marks. The second pregnancy was a weight gain of 35 lbs. I have since lost the weight and my body looks even better than it did before the kids- I have a six pack that I worked really hard for and cannot show off :( I am having my surgery on 2/13/12 in the NYC area and will post before and after pics for reference. I have had breast augmentation (before pregnancy), so if anyone has questions about that I am available to answer:) Stats: 5'5", 130 lbs. measurements: 32, 25, 34

So far each day is getting better. I cannot wait to hug and squeeze my kids!
I have attached a new photo, but I did not remove the bandage.
It has been a while since I last posted pictures,...

I started looking for a plastic surgeon to perform my tummy tuck after having my first child five years ago. I live in an area of Long Island where there are plastic surgery centers on every block, but I chose to use Dr. Fiorillo who is located in Rockland County NY. I was looking for a doctor who completely understood the fit look that I was going for. His work is amazing and I am loving my new look!! My scar is razor thin and low enough to wear a bikini! I highly recommend him!
do you ever have pain when exercising in your abs or incision site?
The swelling should be gone by the summer after your surgery. I am still a little swollen 4 months later, but I'm still going to wear a bikini this summer :)
My doctor gave me the ok to start ab training about 6 weeks after surgery, but I didn't feel ready so I waited another 2 weeks and then started. I increased my intensity around 10 weeks later and I am pretty much back to normal at this point (4 months). Good luck with your surgery!
I'm so scared I wont be able to do ab work for a really long time afterward. When did you start again? Did it cause lots of swelling? Did you stop whenif it started to swell or did you keep going?
You really look great! I am a figure competitor and even though I have abs I always had to deal with the hanging skin! I'm still afraid of the scar. I know I won't I won't be able to hide it in my competition suit but anything is better than what I have now! I'm planning on getting a TT next year. I just had a BL/BA in April 3. How soon could you go back to working out?
Did you have your surgery yet?
Looking forward to your updates! Thanks so much!
How do you feel? Hope you are feeling well :)
Hope you are healing well...
I can't wait to see how it looks so far, and hear about your experience. Have you been able to exercise at all yet?
That is my biggest worry for when I get mine done.
Hope all is well
i cant believe you needed to have the muscles repaired. Your abs look totally diastasis/hernia-free in the before pictures. Lucky!
I have abs too but you can see a funny sunken-in hole where the gap is. :(
(Unless i flex them, then it sort of disappears)
Hope your healing well.
Glad to hear you are healing ok and you dont look too swollen.
Did you get any muscles repaired or just the skin removed?
Keep us updated! I cant wait to see how it looks when the swelling is gone :)
When is your surgery?
I probably have to wait another year or so :( I'm scheduling consults with local doctors soon though.
My youngest child is 7 months and since I'm the primary catetaker, it would be so impossible during recovery lol. I'm hoping eventually my little one will sleep thru the night so I can convince my husband and mom to take off work for a few weeks while I'm healing. (Will be easiee on them if they dont have to wake up every few hours).
Im really looking forward to your updates since your bodytype is so close to mine. Happy healing!
