1 week photos

At the one week point I am very happy with my results. I do feel very stuffed up and sleeping is still a challenge, but it does get better everyday. I came back to work on Monday (surgery was Thursday) but I dI'd end up getting very tired mid day.
My only complaint is that my upper lip is still very dead feeling. I can't smile with out looking odd.

I did the majority of my research on realself.com...

I did the majority of my research on realself.com and I wanted to make sure I gave others the same opportunity to read about my experience. Dr. Theodore Golden in Troy preformed my procedure on 3/12/2015. I have to say that 24 hours later the hardest thing was not eating after midnight and having an 11am surgery slot. I was starving and I had a headache by the time we started.
Mary and Moe did a great job of putting me at ease and making me feel safe. I knew I was in good hands with Dr. Golden, but I was very nervous about the whole twilight sedation thing. I was worried I would feel something, or remember the whole thing. I think I was out for a good portion of the procedure, but I can clearly remember when they were removing the hump from my nose and I can clearly remember them stitching me up. The weird thing is I could have cared less. It didn't hurt at all.
Sleeping last night was very uncomfortable, but not painful. I feel like I have a horrible head cold and I have two very black and swollen eyes. It is very difficult to drink, and because I am breathing out of my mouth 100% I am extremely thirsty.
I have taken the pain meds given to me, they make getting a few hours of restful sleep possible. I have found sleeping in a lazy boy type chair helps with the pressure and drainage. I can't really tell what my nose will end up looking like long term, but from what I can see - I love it. While researching Dr. Golden, I couldn't find a bad review, with the exception of his personality. I honestly don't mind his personality I think he is very kind and excellent at what he does. Day 1 - my only thought is why did I wait so long? I will update again in a few days and post pics.
