2.5 year update!
I haven't been on this site in over a year but I thought I should write an update since I relied so much on this website during my research!
Still absolutely love my new nose and have zero regrets. It feels like the nose I was born with. It's so nice to not worry about my profile or what my nose will look like in pictures. I have so much more confidence!
My nose is not perfect forsure. I did get a slight bump back. But it's still a thousand times better than what I had before and I actually like that it's not perfect ... it makes it more natural looking and that's exactly what I wanted! :)

8 weeks post!
Wow time sure has flown by lately. I can't believe it has been 2 months since my surgery!
I am so happy I had it done. It almost feels surreal. I spent so much time in the last few years obsessing over it and researching and now I almost can't believe I actually had it done!
I've had so much more energy lately. I'm wondering if I'm breathing better at night and therefore sleeping better.
I'm not sure what more I have to say about recovery.. I feel 100% recovered! My incision line has completely stopped bugging me and the redness has significantly gone away. Up until a few weeks ago I could feel sutures poking out still.. So I took a cloth in the shower and rubbed it and got them out. That has helped a ton. Other than that I feel no pain in my nose.. I've been wearing glasses and sunglasses with no problems! Occasionally when I wake up my nose feels a bit tight (swollen I guess) but it goes away quickly.
I will try to get some recent pics loaded. If anyone is considering surgery I highly recommend dr rival! It was truly life changing. Feel free to message me with any questions !

3 weeks!
I'm 3 weeks post op today! I really haven't noticed much change to my nose.. Which is ok because I was happy with it from the beginning. I really don't think I had much swelling so maybe this is why. I still love the front view. I think my tip has dropped slightly (to be expected) from the looks of my profile. I also still have a slight bump over where my old one was. I was told two things about this during my consult and after surgery. Many people have a bump over where their old one was which is swelling and also a small amount of people will develop a bump again which could require a revision. It doesn't bother me enough to have a revision. I'm hoping its swelling but comparing each week side by side it hasn't changed at all! It's very small and only noticeable in certain angles. My nose would be 100% perfect if it was gone. However I was never expecting perfection and it's still SO much better than what I had!!!

I truely cannot say enough good things about Dr Rival. I am now 8 weeks post op and I have not felt a moment of doubt with my new nose. Surgery was easy and recovery was a breeze. I had hardly any bruising or swelling. The staff at the Newmarket hospital were all amazing. Dr rivals secretary Nadia is great. Always quick to respond to any questions I had.
