I am still on the waiting list and now it will be sometime in the new year before I will be going for surgery.
I look at these pictures and I think,WOW! With many questions running though my brain, who gave me this fat suit? Is this a dream? How did I let myself get to this. I do not reconzie who is looking back at me in the mirror .
I have an amazing life, healthy kids .Gorgeous husband who is the best ever and supports me on anything I want to do. We have talked so many times and the questions we keep asking ourself is WHY IS IT SO HARD to lose weight?? That is the only thing in my life that isn't fully happy.
I am a very positive person and have a great outlook on life and know it's up to me to achieve great things but when it comes to my weight,it just kicked me right in the butt. I NEED to get healthy and fit. I want to be like all of you that loves their new body. I cannot wait to have that sparkle back in myself again. We all deserve this. Most of us brought the most important thing in this world and that is our children. Now it's time for our reward.....

I am like everyone else on here. I have been reading stories on here for a year now. It's been great reading all of the journeys.(:
I am 40 years old, I am around 210lbs and 5'4 ! I will try and lose some weight before my surgery but I am ok if I do not. My Dr. Told me that new studies have showed most people who are not the "ideal" weight for surgery have greater results after and start to gain the confidence to take on a healthy life style post surgery. Seriously, Who wants to exercise with all this weight. I always said if I had smaller boobies and the Belly was flat I would be a very happy woman. In my consultation my doc told me that my muscles have bee destroyed by having babies. He said even if I did lose the weight I would still have the pop -belly look(I could still pass easily for 6mts Preggo)
I am still waiting to hear back when my surgery date will be but he said between 3-6 months . I am very excited to take on this journey with all of you. I will be having a BR, Full TT,lipo of inner tights and flanks.
He told me he does not want me under any longer than 5 hrs so he will see what he will get done in that time. Inner tights might have to wait.
