I've been wanting to get rid of this tummy and ...
I've been wanting to get rid of this tummy and didn't know if I should go with lipo or CoolSculpting. I went in to discuss with my doctor and decided to try out the CoolSculpting, since I really didn't want to have the down time.
The first session I had my flanks (two small applicators) done and my lower tummy (with the large applicator). Flanks weren't too bad, until the massage after. It felt like a burning pain, but only lasted 5 mins. And then we moved to the tummy ... OMG ... it was painful when the fat got sucked in, after 5 to 10 mins it was tolerable. Again, massage was not nice. I started taking the medication they gave me for the nerve pain right away as the pharmacist said it would take a while to kick in. I had was really bloated the next day (for a day or two) and the real pain started about 3 to 4 days later but was manageable.
1 week later I returned to have the upper tummy done (with two small applicators), Again, it was painful while the fat was sucked in. This area was the worst, and when I told Dr. J. about it he prescribed me T3 - which totally took the edge off (wish I had known ahead of time and started it from the first sign of pain :) Next time I will know!) two days later the pain was gone.
I know you are saying ... no way not gonna do it ... was the pain worth it? YES! I would absolutely do it again (and may go back for a 2nd session after my 3 months). I already noticed a difference after 3 weeks! Today I went back to the office for my 6 weeks pics and couldn't believe the difference (pictures are posted here)!
