4 months post op

So it's been 4 months since I had my rhinoplasty with Dr.Rival. I loved how my nose looked the first two months, but during the 3rd and 4th month the bump on my bridge has slightly grew back. It really bothers me because in some angles it looks really noticeable. Also, the tip is kinda droopy again. When I first got my nose done the tip was slightly rotated up and I loved it! I'm still really happy I got a nose job with Dr.Rival because it's a lot better than it was before, but for the money I paid I want the bump completely gone! I have a follow up appointment with Dr.rival on July 9th. I'm hoping I can book one more minor surgery with him to fix the small bump and rotate the tip up a bit more. I'm also hoping he won't make me pay full price again (I doubt he would do that)

4 weeks post op

It is 4 weeks post op. My new nose is a big improvement from my old one and Dr. Rival didn't do a bad job, however I still feel like there is still a bump on the bridge and it's driving me insane! I want it to be completely gone. I have a follow up appointment with Dr.Rival on April 16th and I will be asking him if we can do a minor surgery to correct the small bump.

I am so happy that I went through with this...

I am so happy that I went through with this procedure, I had a large bump and droopy tip. I chose Dr. Rival because I felt like he really listened to me and what I wanted to achieve. I wanted a subtle curve / scoop on my bridge and the tip rotated up. After my consultation in January, I booked my surgery date for March 4th, 2015. The first 6 days after surgery were terrible, I felt gross because I could not wash my hair or face as I normally do. Eating and sleeping were very uncomfortable. I did not get any bruising at all, just some swelling around my nose and eyes but nothing like I was expecting. After I got my splint off I was really depressed because there was still a tiny bump there and my nose looks really big and swollen. After 10 days the bump and swelling went down and now 18 days later the bump is pretty much gone and I am so happy with my nose! There still is a small bump on the bridge but it is only noticeable if you look very close. Dr. Rival did say that there was a small chance of the bump growing back but it is very unlikely and if it does grow back, he would do a minor surgery to fix it. Sometimes I have nightmares in the middle of the night about the bump on my nose growing back and I wake up and go look at my nose in the mirror. It has now been 18 days since my surgery, the tip of my nose is still painful if I touch it. I can now breath clearly through both nostrils. I hope my nose continues to get better from here. I am very happy with Dr. Rival and will go back to him for future cosmetic surgeries.
