I am going back to Mexico to get a breast lift and implant and revisions on tummy tuck...i am so ready..for the final chapter of my life

4 weeks post-op I did it... I got my tt and lipo...

4 weeks post-op
I did it... I got my tt and lipo in Tijuana Dec 10th.. First of all I have to say I had just as good or better care as far at the hospital and nurses and staff there, than anywhere here in states.
Dec 10th I met my driver at the San Deigo Airport at 10am... I was cranky and nervous, no food or drink since midnight the night before and I really wanted a coke.
We got checked into the hospital about 11am. I found out my surgery had been moved to 3pm... Yuck. The hospital is older it reminds me of a small town hospital. It was basic but very clean and the nurses where very nice and attetive. There is only 6 rooms a floor so you have personal care. .. I did not get my happy pill till about 30 mins before I went to the surgery, but I have to say I remeber them taking me into surgery and the nurse telling me they where going to move me to the table. Next thing I remeber it was about 430 am and the nurse was checking on me in my room. I asked where my husband was and she laughed ant told me I had forced him to leave the night before and go get diiner and a hotel to sleep he was bothering me snoring in the room... The next day I spent the day in bed and getting pain shots and antibioctics in IV and just laying around. The only thing I did not like was where they do lipo on my back they leave the holes open to drain so I had to have the pads changed alot that was gross... That afternoon before I checked out the nurses come in and help you shower and clean up. I was surprissed at not garment at this time. About 4pm I got released and the nurse drove me and hubby to the Hotel (Marriott Tijuana) very very nice. We where met there by the Angel of Mercy Rocias she is the traveling nurse and helped me get into be and check my drains and set up pillows. She even went to the store and got me soup and gatorade. I love that woman she was wonderful.. She came to my hotel 3 times a day and helped me shower and put on my garment and clean my drains and even cleaned up the bed. She even drove my husband to a resturant to get me chicken soup. The doctor came everyday and was very nice if a bit formal. Wednesday we where taken back to San diego where we stayed for a few days before returning home.... I have to say my incision is the thinest and nicest I have every seen and I have a pretty belly button. Only bad thing is Dang I feel like I was beat up with a bat from the lipo areas. Never have I had a ounce of trouble on the TT.... I cant rave or say enough about Dr Cissnero's the clinic or the people of Mexico. We where treaded with respect and never felt out of place... If and when I ever have anything else done he is my man... He just has to promise his nurse Rocias will take care of me afterwards I have had a few issues when I got home but I strongly feel that is the cause of the doctors here taking out my drains to soon. I got a seroma or some fluid built up on my tummy and have had to drain it several times. I told them the dr said not to take my drains out to soon but they seemed to think they knew better than doctors in Mexico... I again have to say I never had a issue or problem with anything that happened in Mexico. My only concern is I could not return to Dr cissnero's for aftercare.

5 days till my TT and lipo.....Its been a rough...

5 days till my TT and lipo.....Its been a rough few weeks.. Fighting with work to get the time off.. People trying to tell me if I really need the surgery or not and that I should just be happy with what I have... Also I have had to stop some of my meds before surgery and mother nature has decided to come visit so needless to say I am not a pleasure to be around....LOL.... My surgery is so far away that we will be leaving our house on Friday and stoping to spend the night then get into town on Sat and have all Sunday to explore before my surgery on Monday afternoon.... I have gotten my house all cleaned up and think I have all my supplies for the surgery.. My only big concern is our master bedroom is downstairs in our daylight basement so I am worried I might have to camp out in the recliner for a few days or get down stairs then not come up for a few days... Also I HAVE to be back at work two weeks from the day of my surgery so that worries me a little... but due to the surgery day and the only time my husband could get off we had to do it now... Also I have never had any children or any sort of surgery before my gastric by pass 5 years ago and that was laporsopic and I had thre bandaids, so I am nervous about a major surgery... I am a firm believer in pain pills though so I will be a good girl and take them no matter what.... Wish me luck.
