One week after the surgery
These pictures were taken a week after my surgery. When I wake up they aren't as swollen, but as I start my day they progressively get more and more swollen. They are usually at their worst during the end of the day. I am still wearing the Theraputic stockings, my legs hurt when I put them on but they definitely help. I am still taking the antibiotics and painkillers only when the pain is excruciating.

I traveled from NYC all the way to Tampa to meet the Doctor. At first I was a little skeptical about the entire process and his ability to successfully perform this surgery. I had heard horror cases about woman not being able to walk or surgeries that had gone bad. When I arrived at his office I was greeted by some of the sweetest nurses EVER! They were so helpful with everything and made me feel at ease. I was quickly comforted with his artistic vision and the pictures of other patients whom he had performed surgeries on. I came in on a Friday and after feeling at ease I booked my surgery a week later! I was awake during the surgery (but painless, he numbs you all the way) and I was able to flex my leg muscles so that he could better sculpt my leg. After 3 hours, we were finished--You are able to see exactly the way your legs will look after the surgery as they aren't swollen yet. I was able to walk immediately after and even took a flight back to NYC the day after the surgery. The first night is always the worst but he gives you enough pain meds to soothe the pain.
Provider Review
I have struggled with having cankles my entire life. I was never comfortable wearing skirts or anything that would show off my legs. I also spent years trying to find a doctor that I felt comfortable with and that would give me near to perfect results. Because this isn't such a common procedure, I knew that I needed to really be through in my search. A lot of the pictures you see online are used over and over again with many plastic surgeons, so I wanted to make sure that my review was authentic and that it would actually help other woman in my position.
