My results exceeded my expectations! I healed nicely and I took 3 weeks off from work... I have an office job, so that made it easier.
The worst part was the drains but not nearly as bad as I expected. I needed help at home for about 5 days but was moving around well after that. I took Percocet for about 5 day afterwards. I'm not a fan of the way pain meds make me feel, so I used Tylenol after that.

After consulting with 3 Surgeons, I finally found a doctor I trusted and was comfortable with. Dr. Greenwald is a wonderful surgeon! He made me feel comfortable from the get go. He is very knowledgeable and transparent with surgery details, possible complications and what results you can expect. He removed about 12 lbs. of skin. I healed nicely with no wound complications. I can't stress enough that if you need skin removal after weight loss surgery, it is so important to find a surgeon that has experience with surgeries involving excess skin. I thoroughly researched surgeons and they are not all the same. The two surgeons I visited prior to Dr. Greenwald had limited pictures to show results and overall lacked the confidence and knowledge in skin removal after massive weight loss. His nurses are wonderful too. They are caring and knowledgeable. This is important because you will be visiting his office often after surgery. The surgeries weren't a breeze, but soooo worth it! Dr. Greenwald gave me great results and I will forever be thankful! I'd never even consider allowing another surgeon to touch me.
