Found the most comfortable bra so far!

I'll have to post updated pictures soon, but wanted to share that I found the most comfortable bra (after trying and returning over half a dozen)! I was wearing the Danskin zipper-front, which were comfortable enough - but only came in "fashion" colors, which didn't really cut it for the workplace. ;)
Drumroll...
Hanes Women's Comfort Evolution Bra - Model G796
I bought one in Target for $14.99, ad just found them on Amazon for ~$10-11 with free Prime shipping. Anyhow - that's it for now...back to work for me.

The swelling is real...

I'm feeling relatively fabulous for having undergone major surgery 10 days ago. I'm still a little slow to get up after sitting for any length of time more than 10 minutes, but once I'm up...I'm off! I've held in more sneezes than I thought were humanly possible, and I havent really had to cough too much. I carry a water bottle around with me just in case, and it really helps. Laughing has gotten much better...abs hurt less every day. My damn husband is so funny, too! I told him he had to curb his humor during my recovery. ;)
Major issue right now is swelling. It feels as though someone stuck a bicycle pump in my belly button and just kept going. No kidding...now I really do feel like Violet from Willy Wonka! I'm am watching my sodium intake very carefully, and don't feel like I'm really over-doing it physically. I've been wearing a CG 24/7 as instructed (minus showering). I have another follow up with my PS on Tuesday, so I'll see what he says. If only there were that magic pill! I'm curious about his thoughts on supplements...although I'm 10 days PO, and from what I've read, I'm past the time where it would be beneficial anyway. We shall see. Oh, I go back to work tomorrow...finding something to wear was tricky. I found two dresses that aren't too fitting, so that will get me through Mon and Tues. Kids come back home tonight...can't wait to squeeze them! I've missed them so! "Normal" life begins again...hope my swelling chills out a bit. :-)

Happy healing!

I slept in my bed last night!

It's been a week now, and this is the first time that I've felt as though I could sleep in my bed. I used the pillow wedge to elevate my head a bit, and used pillows on top of that, as well as underneath my knees. Not a perfect night sleep, but the best I've had in a week! It just felt so good to sleep next to my husband again . What can I say, I dig this guy!

I've added some updated pics from this AM, and as you can see, I'm still bruised and swollen. And since I had so many stretch marks to begin with, those suckers are still there. I don't even care though, I'm just so happy with the results I'm seeing each day. :-)

I also included a tag from the high-waisted spanx-type boy shorts that I purchased. So far, these are the most comfortable.
