2 weeks post

Hello ladies, it's been awhile. When I went back to work I went full force working 5 12 hour overnight shifts in a row then starting back school this week. That was pure suicide. But all is well, I am soooo in love with my new girls! That band I have to wear for half the day is annoying but I keep telling myself it won't be forever. The girls are still high but they are dropping a bit. I was glad that I could still fit my small scrub top without a problem. And most people what did not know about my surgery could not tell. A few of my co workers knew about it being that I with in the ER so I couldn't lift a lot or do chest compressions (CPR) if needed. Luckly I work with a very supportive team so we always help each other. As far as pain I haven't had any pain in awhile. Although while I was PMSing they were very tender which I never experienced before. I'm finally able to sleep on my side which has helped me sleep sooo much better. I get a little bit of morning boob but not too bad. Hope all is well with everyone! TTYL!

PO Day 5

So I went in for my post op visit today and so far so good. My incisions are healing nicely. That was my main concern. The past couple of days have been great for me. I haven't taken any pain meds since day 3. The hardest part for me is sleeping on my back. Before my BA I always slept on my stomach. So that was a rough one. But every night has been better and better, and I've been able to lay slightly on my side. I return to work tomorrow so my mini vacation will be over. Sigh. My PS gave me that band to wear to help them go down. That should be fun wearing. Any who, all is well and I'm greatful. Have a great week ladies!

Day 1 post op

So my surgery went well. I thought I was going to be all nervous and freaking out. But I was pretty calm and relaxed. Me any my doctor were debating on how much to put in. I ended up with 375cc on the right and 400cc on the left. My surgery was at 10am and I was leaving the surgery center by 2pm. My mom and sister made me take all my meds around the clock, but the pain is not that bad. Atleast not as bad as I thought it would be. It just feels as if something is sitting on my chest, and sore like I worked out too much. I was able to take a shower after 24 hours. Then I was able to take the bandage off but I had to put it right back on. I'm still pretty swollen at the top. I've been doing ice packs as well as frozen peas. I go to my PS on Tuesday for my post op appointment, that's when he will take off my steri strips to look at my incision. I'm pretty happy with my results soo far, I guess now it is just a waiting game.
